We stayed in Lisbon just one night and we loved the location of this hotel. The room was comfortable, we had a nice view and the staff was very friendly. There are only 2 reasons why this hotel does not get a 5 stars. Firstly we had a heck of a time finding the parking. It’s behind the hotel and when you finally get the garage door open the underground spots are so tight and there definitely were not enough spots for all guests. Secondly was breakfast, the variety was great but the area is too small for all guests. It was cramped and people were bumping into each other. Not an environment I like to be in.
I stayed one night here as I had to leave my rental apartment for my last night in Lisbon. I chose it because it's close to the airport, but in an area with a shopping mall, a large grocery store, lots of restaurants and some sights. The room was clean and I was offered early check in which I used. I had a room on the train side so there was a bit of train noise, but not enough to bother me. I had a small issue with my tv and the staff was very responsive and came quickly to solve the problem. They were helpful with getting me a taxi to the airport as their shuttle service times did not work for me. The breakfast was fine and had a variety of food to choose. The wifi was fine, but did cut out in certain parts of my room. I could have used a plug close to the bed. There was a plug close to the desk. There was also an inroom fridge which I used for my own drinks, and an in room safe.…
During a very stressful time trying to return to our home country, this hotel and it's staff were amazing. Every precaution was taken to ensure social distancing and safety, including hand sanitizers, minimal amount of people allowed in elevator and restaurant, all cutlery, plates, cups, food, wrapped individually with saran wrap. All staff were well-trained in social distancing protocol but remained friendly and helpful. Room was top notch. Right next to Oriente station for metro, trains and buses. I would definitely recommend this hotel in good times and bad.
My wife and I stayed at the Tryp Lisboa Oriente Hotel Lisbon: Sat 16 Nov – Sun 17 Nov We had a positive experience and were treated well. Will visit again as it is very centrally located near a Mall and the train station.
I continue to be pleased with Melia/Tryp hotels. The staff were very friendliness and helpful at all times from assisting with finding the Uber App to needing an iron in your room. This location was great for tours and airport departure. I would highly recommend this friendly clean quiet location.
