I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and i loved it! The hotel is near "25 de abril" bridge and you have all kind of transports near the hotel. I bought a one day free pass for all transports in the city for only 3€ and so i could visit the all city in two days. There are many transports...

I don't have much to say about this hotel... It isn't anything special, but it's ok for the price. It has everything that you need, the staff is not friendly, but it's ok. In Portugal normally people are friendlier, but it's ok. Good to stay a couple of nights.

First of all, the hotel is very cool and beautiful. The rooms are just enough to stay, but I think no more then 3 nights. The guy that made my check in was arrogant, want that I paid for my stay before the check i is completed, after that give me a messy room, I when I say that to...

I stayed here for a couple of nights for a business trip. The location was fine for me because it was close to where I was working but when we went for a night out, the options were quite limited. The marina area (just across the road) is nice, the pubs were lively and the food was good but choices...

As several people have said, there are some drawbacks to this hotel. The staff I found OK but it's a fairly basic service. A friend of mine asked about availability of tickets for a Sporting Lisbon Champions League soccer match and was told it would be sold out. In fact the ground was half empty and tickets were easy to...

Average convention hotel with a captive audience - only a block from the convention center. Convenient for a stroll down to Belem and the docks but requires cab (15 min/10Euro) each way to get to downtown areas. Rooms are standard European minimalist and bathrooms are not in good condition. 15 Euro/day charge for internet access is truly outrageous! Pretty good...

The hotel lives on its convenient location near the congress centre which seems to mean it can offer poor service and charge extra for everything. My visit started badly as soon as I arrived. No, they didn't have a booking for me, and no they didn't have a room available that night. Even though I had sent a booking form...

My girlfriend and I had a fabulous experience at the Vila Galé Albacora hotel in Tavira, Algarve (also a 4-star) - so without hesitation we booked the Opera in Lisbon for a spontaneous 5-day trip. Unfortunately, our expectations were way too high - this Vila Galé has a lot to wish for. Rooms: Admittedly, the hotel was part of a...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Vila Gale Opera and thought the hotel was really nice. The rooms are spacious, tidy, comfortable and I had no problem getting a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet is also pretty decent with a fairly large range of food available. The hotel is located a few kms from the town centre...
