My husband and I arrived to the Hotel on 09/13/2016 with a group of friends. Disappointing surprise!! The front desk said that they had problems in their reservation system and would move us to a different hotel. In my view it was disrespectful. Why would you spend time planning your vacation and choosing the hotel you want to stay when...

Booked this hotel for a decent price with it being listed as a 4* Hotel. The Location was fantastic and did not disappoint, the reception, lobby, pool etc were good. The staff could not do enough to help. However the issue came with our room. The safe was out of use when we arrived, they fixed that before it breaking...

Stayed at The Lince Hotel on short notice in August. Received a fantastic deal and was so glad that I took it. Pros: very, very clean. The whole hotel is bright and airy. Looks flawless APART from the hall carpets which defiantly need updating. The lounge, rooms and pool are very attractive. Very large rooms and a large balcony. Huge...

We went to Madeira for 12 days, booked Lince Hotel with breakfast. 4 stars hotel sounded nice, but I was a bit dissapointed when we got there. But let's start with the pros. The hotel is located in beautiful area, about 20 minutes walk from Funchal centre. Public beach, promenade and pools are just down the road, there are many...

We stayed at the lince for 2 weeks whilst on our honeymoon in Madeira. Our first impression was a light clean modern looking hotel in a great location for bars and restaurants and also to reach nearby funchal town. We received a chilled bottle of sparkling wine on our arrival as a gift which was really nice. We had arranged...

This hotel is in a great location for dining and public transportation. Our package included breakfast. It was a buffet and there was plenty of food to choose from. The hotel's front desk staff was very nice. There is a pool on the roof with a small bar. It was lovely. A little chilly in May to swim, but we...

This hotel is in the centre of the lido area with everything you need going on around it. Rooms are very tired and very lacking in amenities. Corridor carpets on every floor are disgusting. Bathrooms are in desperate need of a make over with the worst towels I have ever seen. Breakfast is extremely basic with a depressing dining room...

The staff are very friendly and helpful The rooms were clean and tidy however perhaps the bathroom is in need of a makeover and take care with the door stopper that is on the ground in front of the toilet bowl you might stub your toe if your not careful. The pool was ok however a bit small, the water...

We had a 4 night stay at The Lince at the end of June. The hotel is usefully located close to numerous restaurants, shops and bus stops (including the airport shuttle bus and 'hop on hop off' sightseeing buses), The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and adequately equipped - although they would benefit from tea/coffee making facilities being provided. Breakfast...
