Just returned from another great holiday in Madeira, think this was our 4th stay at the Savoy Gardens hotel! The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The food is very good quality with lovely salads, loads of different fish to choose from as well as meat and vegetables at the buffet in the evening. Lots of choice for a tasty...

We only booked this holiday about 4 weeks before departure. We stayed from 18th to 25th November. We chose this hotel for the adults only feature, the location and the fact that it is neither too big or too small. Much has been documented about the fact that there are a lot of steep hills etc, but really, if you...

Stayed at the Savoy Gardens in mid November for the first time ( second time in Madeira) and will certainly be returning to this hotel. We were a little concerned due to reports of building work going on but thankfully none during our stay. With that out the way the holiday was faultless due to the splendid, attentive and welcoming...

Just spent another week here in this hotel. We returned and were not disappointed, great staff good food , plenty of choices and a lovely clean room on the seventh floor with a Juliette balcony which had a fabulous sea view. Excellent hotel for value for money from Thomsons no doubt we will return again.

Stayed from 18 to 25 November 2016. Very nice quiet location, no building works. Woken by Cockerels which got the dogs barking but hey, it was time to get up anyway. Lovely breakfasts and dinners although i did find one dirty fork on my table. Nice Thompson reps. Rooms cleaned daily. Had a rear room so only views of the...

We stayed in Savoy Gardens mid November 2016. Fears about building work, which Thomsons had notified us of, were unfounded as there is absolutely none taking place nor is there any equipment or mess near the hotel. On arrival we were allocated a room with a very unpleasant smell. However, management did everything possible and moved us to a really...

Our room 415 was a mountain view but it was lovely, kept spotlessly clean by the lovely, friendly Helena. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, we reported a small problem with...

Third visit and this hotel still feels like the right place to be. As ever spotlessly clean, wonderful staff with great service and everything catered for. If anything the food has improved since our last visit, we will be back again. The guest mix is slightly different now, no longer couples only with a more varied age range, although this...
