Super nice and friendly staff, we got upgraded to a penthouse with a amazing view over the Douro river bridge. Good breakfast, served to the room and tasty dinner with the most delicious hambúrguer. But we had some complaints at the end: the water of the shower was never hot and the sink of our toilet was always yellow, I thought my boyfriend wasn’t flushing... but noooo!!! the water was yellow all the time But in the end amazing spot and marvellous city break 🌈❤️

We stayed here 3 nights and were extremely pleased with it. Location is exceptional, one block from the Ribeira (waterfront) and within walking distance of virtually everything. Staff was great. When we checked-in, we were greeted by Rita who also gave us a city orientation with a map over Port and cake. The room was very modern and very comfortable with good internet. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Parking was just down the block under a park (although not inexpensive). We would recommended this hotel to friends who were coming the next week. Upon their return, they indicated that they too loved it here. Well done!

Very nice hotel, convinient and clean. Has rather good destination Soo you can get easily to all the sightseeing and cafes. Rather good to stay for travelling with friends. You can have tasty breakfasts.

Very friendly, helpful and kind stuff, modern and clean rooms, excellent breakfast with homemade bakery. The location is very central, most of the sights can be visited by foot. Nice welcome with port and pastel de nata.

Our stay at the House Ribeira was excellent. From the welcome/information we received from Diogo on arrival, to the pleasant, efficient staff at all times of the day. The hotel is perfectly located for the shops, bars and restaurants and to the Douro river, with trams/buses very accessible. The breakfast was fantastic which was included in the price of the room. The hotel room was clean and extremely comfortable. We will return here again.

Been to Porto a few times now and never had a problem with my MasterCard (credit card).

Thank you for the preference in The House Ribeira Hotel.
Regarding your request, we inform you that getting to the hotel is easy, considering that it is located in the city center and there may be traffic.
The hotel does not have a private parking.
Although, we have an agreement with a public parking nearby, 110m from the hotel, which makes a price of 23,00€ for our guests for 24H each.
At your check-in time we will be able to explain you where exactly the parking place is.
For any other doubts or requests, please, do not hesitate to contact us.

Porto Is a busy city but I’m sure if you run early morning you would be fine. You could maybe run up to the bridge and over to Vila Nova de Gaia which is more pedestrianised by the river.

The hotel is very central near the river. If any attraction is too far to walk there’s always taxis outside the hotel and they’re very reasonably priced. Enjoy your stay!
