The rooms are clean and basic, and the owner is very nice (but does not speak English). The property is located close to the historic train station and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the waterfront. It’s very close to wonderful shopping streets....More

The location of the place is great, very close to all the important monuments, as well the city center, restaurants and cafes. It's 5 minutes away from metro station and train station, from where you can catch a train for many other cities in Portugal....More

I can surely understand why this place divides people in a "for" and "against". It's all a question of expectations of course. The hotel is more like a "room rental". It is run by a senior lady who is really an old-fashioned type of Portugese...More

Very good location, caindly chef Marija, clin And I will come next year:)) ***** I love fado and walking around to city, no expencive food good seveja and lot of fish:))******** Especiy on the other side of river Douro could i try good vine
