Would recommend for being close to the metro station and Aliadas square which then leads to all the sights. It was clean, comfortable, stylish and the reception staff were very approachable and polite.
Having had to leave our previous 'hotel' as it was so horrendous we arrived here where we were greeted with very friendly staff and a warm lobby. They sorted us a room and must have given us a really nice room following our bad experience as we were on the 6th floor at the back with a lovely view of the city. The room itself was really quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable. We slept so well! There was a TV, free wifi, AC/heating and a really nice bathroom. The bar/room service menus were reasonably priced and the staff had great knowledge of the city. The hotel itself is about a 5/10 minute walk from the main station you arrive in to from the airport which was really handy for our early journey on our final day. Would stay here again if I went back to Porto!
First time staying, and was an ok experience. Room was large, comfortable bed. AC worked but made a loud noise. Breakfast had a good variety. Only problem was the lift on check-out, it was broken and no communication to say so. I was on 6th floor and waited for the lift to go down. I waited a while, then decided to walk down the fire escape. When got to the the reception desk I mentioned that the lift was broken and the Receptionist just shrugged their shoulders and said "yes we know". No apology at all.
A short walk from the station and the main sights. Very good value with clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was very impressed. I'd stay here again
Very friendly staff. Room was tiny, but we could handle that. nice bathroom. Room faced street which has heavy traffic on cobble stoned streets. the road noise in the room was exceptionally high, like we had our bed on the sidewalk. Impossible to sleep. Also room was hot. There is a control for the ac but it did not do anything. On asking staff about it was told the climate system is controlled throughout the building and it would not get cooler than it was and suggested opening the window (making road noise worse). Elevator worked but it is tiny, holds two people tops. In the corridor road noise was low, perhaps interior rooms are quieter.
