Our party of 6 friends stayed for 2 nights after our train journey from Lisbon, this is a fantastic hotel ,rooms pillows very comfortable,breakfasts staff excellent, great location within easy walking distance. If you want to use the metro straight across the road, you can catch to go to the airport or on a trip along the ridge to the other side. We will be bac as soon everything around the world back to normal.

we stayed here 4 nights and had a good experience. Unfortuanltely it was during the COV-19 so things from our out end were a bit hectic with the anxiety of trying to get flights out. The hotel had plenty of sanitizers to assist. The hotel certainly is in a nice location, about 3 min walk from metro and about 15 min walk to many of the major Porto sites. The room was good size, cleaned daily, change of lines. Had a nice updated bathroom. The twin beds were a bit odd but could not get double bed at the hotel. Free water and Wifi. We did have one issue when a contractor next to the hotel starting jack hammering at 9 p.m. rattling the walls! We immediately went to reception to demand another room or switch to a new hotel. They promptly called police and within the hour it stopped. The breakfast was fine with plenty of choices, both hot and cold, breads and bake goods. Front desk made some reservations for us at local restaraunts. I would recommend high room and towards the back to avoid street noise as it located on a busy thorough fare. Another memorable visit to this hotel, I believe is my 10th or 11th and is definitely home away from home. From the moment you arrive, you feel an excellent feeling and sense of welcoming. The rooms are extremely clean, spacious and offering coffee and tea making facilities, such as complimentary bottle of mineral water. We had the lovely room 903, top class room. The breakfast is excellent and varied, a great way to start your day in this lovely city. There is a cozy bar with snack and also a nice way to relax and drink a Porto wine. After all these details, the staff is a plus, they make all the difference and for sure they are as well one of our main reasons to visit the other year by year or twice a year. My special regards to Raúl at the Bar, Catarina, Eduardo, Ruben at the front desk, all extremely friendly and helpful. The ladies at breakfast are also very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The chambermaids are very important as well, for their great job making the rooms extremely clean. The general manager, Mrs Catarina also deserves a special mention for leading the team to achieve all this success. Whilst at Porto you can enjoy a great city hotel , with all the major attractions near by!! We will always return here!…

The hotel was quite nice to stay and the location is super. The subway is just 50m away! The staff was very friendly. The only two complaints I have is the somewhat poor breakfast and the noise from the street at night. Overall I recommend the hotel.

Checked in and staff really helpful by switching room booking so we could access room early. Hotel clean and welcoming and good breakfast. Located close to metro stop and well located for all areas in porto. Deducted a star due to hardness of beds (personal preference) not a reflection on recommendation though.

It's a ten minute walk downhill from the hotel to the station. Good wide pavements - no problem.
