My wife and I stayed in the Mercure Centro hotel in Porto for 3 nights. We stayed in a Superior room which was good as the standard rooms looked very small. Our room had a very comfortable bed and a complementary mini bar. The view from the room was fantastic and if they could put a balcony in then it...

During the booking I wondered, maybe the hotel is too far from the centrer. But it is very close to everywhere. Clean and nice hotel. It was very reasonable to stay in this hotel. Brekfast was as usual.

I have just returned from a trip to Porto and I stayed here with a friend. The hotel is lovely and has everything you might need but is missing a view finer details that would make it 5/5 review. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and there is plenty of space in the rooms. However, at first glance it appeared that...

Hotel is located near many great tourist attractions. There is a beautiful church in the the square right in front of it and Hop on Hop off bus stop is nearby. Room was quite comfortable. Breakfast is delicious with the amazing Pastel de Nata served every morning. Staff is very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has been reconditioned, the rooms are much better, the service was wonderful. The breakfast is a lot better with a cheese selection, fresh fruits, hams. The hotel is near commercial stores and 5 minutes walk to the city center (i'm working there). thanks

Great location and got to stay in a very comfortable room with a magnificent view of Porto. Very satisfied except for the restaurant. Breakfast is great but dinner was a fiasco! Meat dishes were absolutely awful; the meat cuts were horrible & hard, badly cooked and uneatable.

Staff excellent. Average sized room big bathroom, but, no grab rail to assist old duffers getting in and out of over-bath shower. Bed moderately hard (why do hotels insist everyone wants a hard bed?) Tea/coffe facilitiesvery poor and not replenished. The usual one easy chair for two people. Overall good though and we'll return
