Staff was very polite and helpful. Right by Santa Catarina street (where Café Majestic is located), charming street full of stores and coffee shops. The rooms and bathrooms were renovated. Very close to public transportation.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights last week to get an idea of Porto and also do a Douro valley trip. The hotel is well located just behind the São Bento Train Station and on top of a steep hill. The property seems rather jaded including the bathroom fixtures and the Aircon system in the rooms and has...

The room was good, cleaning everyday, friendly staff and good breakfast. The location also good, central, close to everything. Across the hotel is a square where homeless people hang out, but also young locals with skateboards, great to watch, it feels safe.

The Hotel has a very nice location. In the front you can take buses, for all the Oporto City. Have very nice restaurant around, and you can walk to the center attraction, very safety. Is clean and quiet, the breakfast is not too much, but you can have a nice journey in Oporto staying there.

Chain hotel, nothing special but also nothing bad. Location is great. Everything from little walk. On the square restaurants, bars and some elementary shops. Receptionist were a little bit serious but professional. Room was common hotel room. Great view from sixth floor window. Wifi signal good. Tea and coffee facilities. Not very large choice for breakfast but ok. Small lift,...

A good 3* stars hotel located in the heart of the city. The main train station "La Batalha" and the undeground stop is very near (aprox. 5-7minutes walking). There are many shops and restaurants right next to the hotel. The main atractions are also close to the hotel.

Enjoyed this hotel - friendly staff, nice quiet room, with ( hooray ! ) a kettle ! Decent buffet breakfast and wifi. The hotel is convenient for some of the Porto attractions, and is pretty well served by public transport for the others. Just beware if arriving by train / metro at the Sao Bento station with luggage. On the...

We spent 4 nights here on arrival in Portugal for our first visit to the country, and felt this was an excellent introduction. Porto is a very hilly city and the location in a historic part is great, but it is a long way down to many attractions and back up, and of course that includes the river. However, judicious...

The rooms are adequately spacious and has bar fridge, coffee making, small amount of drinks and snacks, and free good internet (which is something we need now and many hotels don't get it working right in the rooms). They only serve breakfast in their Lobby restaurant but the price was good value and we preferred eating lunch and dinner out...
