The hotel could be described with one word, "average". But comparing to some others 3 stars hotel the price here was higher, still not very expensive. The location is perfect, 5 min walking to the train station Sao Bento and main square. The breakfast was quite poor, no standard English breakfast. The room was clean with a bit old furniture....

Went to Porto for a quick 2 day weekend break and was lucky enough to book this lovely, excellent value, very well located hotel. The high ratings here are well deserved and they are very proud of them too! The staff were very friendly and happy to give out maps and advice. The barman was very friendly, and the bar...

Hotel da Bolsa is a basic hotel which benefits from very helpful staff and a great location for seeing the city of Porto. The hotel rooms themselves are quite basic but comfortable, but I felt the need to write this review to praise the staff for helping us with our travels, and also for holding onto an item that I...

The hotel is ideally located just a couple of meters from the river front where all the shops/restaurants and activity is. The room was very clean, well sized bed and functional bathroom. If you are travelling by car there is a public carpark a few meters away and you get a discount from the hotel

All the other reviews already tell you how great the location is, so the only thing I have to add is that if you don't want to pay for a full-on breakfast, go across the street for a pastry and coffee or tea at the Buondi Caffe. The pastries were quite good and inexpensive.

Just returned after staying 5 nights at the Hotel da Bolsa. The hotel is halfway between the Sao Bento metro stop and the Ribeira which allowed easy access to just about everything Porto has to offer. The room was a triple on the second floor (3rd in the US). The beds were firm but manageable. The bathroom was large though...

Hotel da Bolsa is only about 10 minutes walk from São Bento Railway station, down Rua das Flores, so it’s not essential to get a taxi if you have smallish bags. There's a cheap student-type bar just around the corner at the bottom of Rua das Flores where you can get a good snack - a beer is 1 Euro...

This is an average hotel, but the excellent location and pricing makes it well worth a stay. You can clearly hear the traffic outside, so if you have a hard time sleeping when there is some noise then you should probably avoid this hotel. If you are planning to spend a lot of time at the hotel, then this is...

Arrived dead tired from nonstop flight from Baltimore. Our booked room was not available until after noon, but manager gave us another room to crash in for several hours. Funny little room with three single beds. When we awoke we were given our proper room on the fourth floor (5th in US), quite spacious with two ensuite bathrooms and a...
