Stayed there for 3 nights and the location was perfect! Walking distance to a lot of this especially Ponte Luiz and Ribeirinha! The breakfast was good and the coffee was just right. If you just want a plain drip coffee this hotel has it!! The hotel staff very helpful and speaks well English!

After travelling, we did not want to go far for our first evening meal so we enjoyed a meal at one of a group of restaurants only a one minute walk from the hotel. The river is only a five minute walk down the hill with the open top bus and tram stops about the same distance away. We had...

4 of us have just returned from a long weekend in Porto staying at the Hotel da Bolsa. What a lovely friendly hotel and the Reception staff couldn't do enough to help. Breakfasts were fine and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk down hill to the Douro where everything is happening both...

This is an affordable small charming older hotel. It is located right in the centre of Porto with easy (or at least close) walking access to many sights. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms have been refreshed. They are smallish but everything works well including ac and shower.

Hotel da Bolsa is at the heart of historic Porto! Easy acess to the Vale do Ribeira- Rio Douro- where everything happens! Walking distance to everywhere at the centro histórico! Hotel is clean, staff are helpful, bedroom and bathroom spacious enough and updated! Breakfast is good and typical of hotels in Europe. There is a paid parking lot down the...

Very convenient location near river; single room was small but very clean and functional and staff seemed efficient and polite so a good overall mark. Some niggles: bathroom would benefit from a shelf; wifi system works OK but logon system needs simplifying; breakfast fine but why no eggs?

The bed was comfortable without being plush. The bathroom was clean and functional. The room was as quiet as could be expected on a very busy street; earplugs are recommended. The staff was efficient. The breakfast was okay; I wish the coffee had been better. It was within walking distance of most sights. Public parking is convenient across the street.

Small but perfectly located. Just along from the Palacio da Bolsa and well positioned for the Cathedral and the waterfront. Clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Breakfast was a little sparse but the price was so low I could not complain.

The Hotel da Bolsa is perfectly situated in the old town with walking access (be prepared for a climb up to the Cathedral) to the river area and most sightseeing must sees as well as authentic Portuguese cuisine riverside and near riverside restaurants. Staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Our accommodation was in the garret, with great views up to...

On arrival we found there had been a mix-up in our booking (through an internet agent) but the reception staff managed to get us a room (although I did have to telephone the agent myself to sort out the error). After going to our room (slightly basic but everything was there apart from a fridge) we set off to explore...
