At the moment I have been overcharged £150 by the hotel on two rooms I booked and am struggling to get it back!!!! Booking.com processed a "pre payment" although the website clearly stated "no pre payment" the hotel charged the full price and did not...More
The decor is amazing, around the huge deco staircase at least. Beautiful old items from the top to the bottom. The room I had was both functional and comfortable, with a bonus of a shared balcony. Shower / tv etc. were all fine and the...More
I really liked the style of the hotel, like remembering old times, but a few things could have followed modernity, like: I really missed a safe for keeping money and documents as well as a better wifi connection (it worked, but not very well). Breakfast...More
The hotel is in a great location in the city center. Just a few steps from the metro, bus lines, restaurants and a big market. It is about about 10 minute walk to the Douro river.

My room didn´t have a tub, but it was enormous, very spacious, anc clean. There is no parking in the building, but there is one just by the corner (it is very very near, like 10 steps or less), so no trouble with the luggage. I think we paid 12 euros/day. Hope it helps! by the way, we enjoyed a lot our stay in there. The hotel is fun because of the old stuff around and breakfast is fine.
