The Hotel is located nearby the sea. Some rooms have a lovely view of the ocean. If you like jogging you can do it on the road beside the beach. Rooms are clean, although the have carpets that are a bit old and with smudges. Staff is friendly and breakfast is a good surprise for a 2 star hotel.
Not in the city centre, but near the beaches, and wonderful walks along the sea, with fashionable bars and restaurants, wild coast scenery and friendly sportsmen- and women. The hotel is ok, we had a big room with a sea view, breakfast ok, service nice, beds good, price reasonable, and to walk downtown, upstream the Douro, is challenging, if you prefer take the bus 500, or the old tram, or simply a taxi for about 8,50. Special place indeed. We would do it again.
Good breakfast, pleasant no nonsense yet accommodating staff, decent sized room with a real balcony from which I could see the sea even though it was on the non-sea side of the hotel. Quiet street but shopping and beach and bus within a few short blocks.
Super little private hotel. Clean and comfortable. Good location, we had a sea view. Good value places to eat within easy walking distance. Good bus service into Porto. We took the tram back which was good value and a step back in time.
It is a bit hard to find cause it is situated in an apartment building. Once you step into reception you enter the nineties. It is a cozy place with a view on the ocean. Although it is not really on the Oceanside but one block further, you can see the ocean over the buildings. Rooms are basic. There was no hot water but when we mentioned it they took care of the problem and fixed it. If you are not to snobbish great place to go, otherwise just stay away.
