Stopped here for a cold beer on a hot day - perfect! Friendly staff. Lovely laid back atmosphere. Great shady deck. Felt very welcome. Popular with the locals (and apparently a better pub than the well known purple pub!)

The best pub where there's nothing but dirt and fish. This place is so amazing. The feeds are amazing and the family that run the joint make the place 100% true blue. Couldn't ask for a better pub to stay and have a nice, cold beer. Will be back soon.

We stayed a couple nights at the Albion Hotel in Normanton, we arrived late but they were very accommodating to our timing. The rooms were sufficient for our needs as we weren’t planning to spend a lot of time in them just for sleep really, older décor but comfy beds, good hot showers and pretty quiet overall. Priced to sell...

These motel units have seen better days and are not up with other accommodation in the area. Rooms are very tired and showing wear with obvious defects. Cleaning was once over lightly. However we did love the large tiled shower! The environment outside the units was also tired and basic. It is a pity because there is plenty of potential....

Old room but very clean and tidy. Linen was fresh and a/c and TV worked! Friendly staff and great pub steak meal. Loved the "Tightarse Tuesday" menu😊. Iconically Ozzie outback and hope it never changes.

We had 1 grilled fish with salad and 1 crumbed fish with chips and salad. The meals were so big we could not squeeze the last in. Very tasty. We saw the PIZZA meals that people had and we will be going back for one of them.

After staying here many times over the past 10 years, its great to see the place thriving under the current managers. The rooms are tidy and there are some small but noticeable improvements such as new towels and curtains and even the simple thing like moving the fridge from the bathroom to the main room is a positive. I stayed...

Recently moved to Normanton and I was advised that as a single woman, this pub would the 'safest' place for dinner. I've eaten there twice and I can confirm that status. This pub attracts the flown in service providers (health professionals and contractors) and locals. The service is very personable The pub has recently changed hands and the new managers...

Recently travelled through Normanton by motorcycle. I had problems with getting cash out from the local ATM. The staff and management at the Albion Hotel couldn't do enough to help me. Not only was the food good, the beer cold and the atmosphere friendly, the level of service and kindness was way above and beyond what I had expected. Unfortunately...

We were part of a group and some of us stayed here while others stayed in cabins at the caravan park-I think we got the best deal! The rooms are out the back and are quiet and comfortable and there is plenty of parking space. Our room had a double and single bed, air conditioning, a good spacious shower and...
