Nice hotel. Rooms were clean. Loved the small plunge pool on the balcony and the view was beautiful, the fleas bites were not. Got eaten alive on my legs from fleas. Bring insect repellent. Beware, this hotel is built on a hill and there are fairly steep steps to some rooms.

It sounds like you truly enjoyed your time here at Sugar Ridge. Our plunge pools are a great way to cool off throughout the day and guests like you love them. Insects are a way of life on tropical islands, and we do safely fog the resort on a regular basis . Our hillside location is part of our appeal...

This was our second trip to Sugar Ridge and Antigua. The resort is not on the beach but has incredible views of the sea & it's an easy and safe walk to Jolly Harbour. A free shuttle (open air Range Rover) takes you to beaches. A shout out to CARLEEN our awesome server at breakfast and pool bartender--she is a...

We loved our 5 nights at Sugar Ridge. The all inclusive felt like such a treat with endless cocktails of our choice and a fantastic selection of food at the sugar club, and our 8 course meal at Carmichael's was the highlight of our stay. We didn't mind the 5 minute walk to our room as the views were worth...

Beautifully situated small hotel, designed in the modern idiom. Lovely, well-tended gardens and interesting pools. Although removed from the beach, the shuttle system both on and off-site worked well without much hanging about. Wi-fi was excellent and the same must be said of the staff who are all jolly and keen to please. Apart from what was on offer at...

My husband and I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere that Sugar Ridge provided. We definitely needed some down time after celebrating the holiday and Sugar Ridge did not disappoint. Everything was very clean and well manicured. I loved that we stayed at the highest place, the view was breathtaking everyday!

Check-in and check-out were painfully slow. Rooms are comfortable and clean. All worked well, including the wifi. The hotel is located within walking distance to Jolly Harbor and it's restaurants, shops. Also a few other restaurants are within walking distance, as is the beach. Be aware that you should always book a rate that includes breakfast as the hotel otherwise...

We had a lovely few days staying at Sugar Ridge. A beautiful location where you definitely need transport to get up and down the hills. Carmichael' restaurant is amazing but the Sugar Club is only average. Great service with super friendly staff.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a cynical front desk agent, dropped to the room in a dark area without assistance w/ my bags from the bellman eventhough, I was walking downhill in a rocky area, then got a rude ignorant call from the supervisor about my guest. Overall, it was a terrible first impression which made the rest of...

What a wonderful holiday from the moment we arrived to our day of departure. We had been a little worried by some of the reviews we had read, but we shouldn’t have been. The holiday wasgreat. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely big four poster bed and a good shower-room. It would perhaps have been nice if there...

Everything was awesome. I had a room with a private plunge pool but my view was obstructed by trees. Also their local breakfast is legit! Great customer service. I will definitely be back soon. The only thing I don't like is having to be carted everywhere in a shuttle because it's hilly, but a small price to pay for the...
