Such a beautiful resort by the beach with top notch service! Everywhere we go in the resort the staff are just super friendly and helpful. Stayed for 3 nights and we didn’t even go anywhere during our last days in Koh Samui, just enjoying the resort to the max.
Room is very spacious and beautifully designed with bathtub and shower separated. The bedding is very comfortable we had a really good sleep. The pool is proper, with length around 50m, perfect for morning swim. They have cool sport activities too around the pool area for family to use it. Private beach and lounging chairs available.
Breakfast selection menu just gorgeous and delicious! We would definitely come back staying here.
My big regards to DEAR, the front desk staff for being so helpful with everything. Will definitely stay here again next time when we visit Koh Samui

First time in Thailand and one to never forget. The staff were lovely always catering to everyone’s needs. Cannot fault the quality of the personnel.
Food was delicious and must try some of the signature cocktails! The boho restaurant was the best, covered breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurant is also great if you are a picky eater too. The fish restaurant with views over the beach was underwhelming. When we went as a family (5 of us) the restaurant seemed under staffed with the chef taking on the waiter role, this factor meant the food and drink took longer than expected.
Rooms were stunning. The beds are extremely comfortable with a snazzy flatscreen TV at the end of the beds. Few minor niggles: air con could be temperamental, set the temperature to 18.0C, the outside door was closed (as advised so the air con works) and would reset back to 25-26C. Bring/ask for mosquito spray! Bitten almost 10x by mosquitoes in just 5 days. The bar table in the corner of the room is a nice touch but the door for the fridge does not catch easily (little annoying). The sliding doors to the balcony can also be temperamental and can get stuck. Room design regarding wardrobe and luggage storage could do with tweaking: need more drawer space and more hanging space. Rooms have a lovely long luggage bench under the tv but on such a lovely holiday, you really want to put your suitcases out of sight! Overall fabulous staff and location and would always love to return.

Since arrival the front desk team greeting us very impressed with their hospitality. Check-in very smooth and Khun Pear provided us the signature welcome drink and very refreshing cool towel from sea salt & patchouli aroma scent.
When we arrived to the room it’s very incredible, the style, decorations so beautiful. This is the worth or the retreat.
The breakfast was very nice with varieties of food on the buffet line and a la carte menu, also love the welcome drink “kombucha”
Water sports equipment such as paddle board, kayaking are available or you can explore along the beach with fat tire bikes.
Before leaving we went to Pimaanda spa for a full body massage, first we arrived its was amazing there is a nice garden along the walkway to spa reception and very relaxing with aroma scent. The receptionist greeting with warm welcome and provided the signature welcome drink. End of the treatment therapist served signature hot tea with lovely cookies. We were very relaxed and want to spend more time here.
On the departure everything was smooth staffs are very nice and friendly. We will definitely come back again.

Overall a solid stay for us (2 adults and our 16month old)
The Great • The room: nice atmosphere and decoration, decent size overall. They have sliding doors that can make the tub area open or close which is a nice concept. Good balcony size with large bed that can directly access a side tool (++ for the kid for the convenience) • Breakfast: free for all guests. High quality with good selection. Wife and kid really enjoyed it • The staff: highlights of this hotel. Almost all staffs are extremely friendly, especially to our little one • The kids club: nice area for kids to play, 2 floor building with lots of toys. Nanny service is also available at 300 baht per hour during our visit • Location is within 15min drive from USM airport • The restaurant Mr.Eung is right outside of the hotel. Food is of great value and tasteful • Main pool is very instagramable • Social hour every day with appetizer and cocktail and wine. Free for all the guests
The Okay • Dinner: selection is a bit limited. Flavor is just okay • Beach has strong current, sand is not so soft and the water is not very clear. Still enjoyable for laying down on a beach chair but I don’t see anyone swim in the ocean
Improvements needed • Rooms are not very child proof. My son got his back cut by the sharp edge of the night stand • Room card reader runs out of battery and I have to come to the front desk twice to get this resolved

Brand new hotel with a very calm atmosphere, friendly staff, enormous pool and quite beach.
It was a nice gateway week end, the room (Standard King pool view) was quite spacious with a very confortable bed, bathroom's design simple but elegant with a quite nice and practical feature (if you travel with kids): 2 slidding doors offering the possibility to completly close or open the space to your liking...the bathtub being at the center. Breakfast buffet with also a la carte selection offer a huge selection range. Healthy drinks and homemade served straight upon arrival. Pastry were amazing, which is rare for Thailand, with a selection of mini croissants to die for and daily changing Danish pastries! Fish House restaurant, the dinner destination feels like having dinner with friends and family on your patio back home. No A/C, just the evening ocean breeze! Grilled Seabass was outstanding, cooked to perfection! Signature handcrafted cocktail original and refreshing! Located at the end of the beach, it is quite and feels more private than any other beach in Samui. There is Stand up paddle board and Kayaks to enjoy the coastline and even beach bicycle for a fun ride. Staff were always attentive, caring and extremly polite. We will be back surely!

Upon first sight of the hotel and landscaping the place is stunning. Beautiful gardens and layout as you head from reception through the grounds past the pools to the beach. Thoughtful, personalised gifts await in the rooms. And as usual the friendly, happy Thai hospitality shines through. My only complaint which though quite major didnt detract too much from my stay as ive been to Samui many times and knew how to overcome it. The drinks from the pool bar are expensive and weak. I was unsure on each occassion that they even contained alcohol. Which is a shame because when im on holiday at a place in this price range a quality cocktail shouldnt be a problem. Other than that service to the beach lounges could improve and the hotel should do more to ensure the beach and surrounding water is free from rubbish. More than once i cleaned the beach and retrieved rubbish from the water. Other than these issues the property is superb. The rooms, the breakfast, the grounds and facilities are all first class

My partner & I stayed 2 nights at this wonderful hotel and it was such a joyous vacation I can not wait to go back . I booked us into a one bedroom beachfront pool villa ( room 810 ) and it did not disappoint. The hotel is new , having just opened a few months ago . The villa is super specious with huge bedroom , separate walk in closet , indoor / outdoor showers and a huge bath with 2 toilets . ( see photos ) I was worried it would be really noisy with it being beachfront but no it was really quiet and we had a peaceful and super relaxing time . Breakfast was good and the food in the 2 restaurants ( Lanai & Fish House ) was good although the menus were limited . If you like Thai food you can order off the menu at Lanai and the staffs will go out of their ways to help / service you . The service was amazing and staffs are very well trained and were very welcoming . We also had spa bookings and I can not recommend this spa enough . The spa , in short , is just heavenly . The treatments were great ( we had a scrubs followed by massages ) . The hotel is small which means you get to walk everywhere which is nice . The beach is lovely . Not pristine ( I first came to Koh Samui 30 years ago when it was a backpacker paradise with only one luxury hotel ( Pan Sea - now Poppy ) Svd the rest were all backpackers’ bungalows . The beach ( Chaweng) then was amazing with crystal clear water . ) but you are able to swim and enjoy yourself . The sand is soft and the hotel provides you with daybeds and nice towels . I’m also in love with the little lawn outside our villa with the huge pine tree . To sum everything up - this place is pure paradise .

Okay so we had the best possible room - a villa right on the beach with a private pool, a stylish bedroom plus a separate room with giant bathtub, interior and exterior shower. But from the moment we arrived and saw the layout of the hotel, and then had a tour of our villa, we knew it was one of the very best hotels we had ever stayed in. Staff were great. Breakfast was fabulous. Only disappointment was the seafood restaurant - we had a very average meal. We preferred to eat out at the numerous beach restaurants nearby which were a fraction of the price.

Me & my friend are look for a short break after long long stress with our work. We have research for many of Samui hotel, but we end up with the new opening hotel as we would like to experience this brand (this is the first time with IHG brand). We have booked under We Travel Together which is a great that this hotel participates the campaign.
We have chosen Essential Resort View which the room what we have very comfortable, we do have big balcony where we can sit and chill out with our drink/coffee in the morning (the hotel provides coffee machine in the room). In the afternoon, we walk down to the beach just a few steps as hotel on the beach front, the beach quiet not crowdy. We also choose to have dinner at hotel "Fish House" restaurant at beach side. I would highly recommend to try "Tiger Prawns Rice"
The great thing that we really love it, “morning kick start” & “Social Hour” where we can have coffee /drink/ canapes and a chance to talk with hotel management.
The breakfast itself also good, we eat a lot , they provide both of buffet and a la cart menu, don’t miss to try “fresh orange juice” and “Kombucha tea” it really really good taste.
We both have a good relax while we stay at your hotel, we will comeback for sure!!

The staff here were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so helpful. Definitely speak to Barry at the front desk for sight seeing recommendations and to find out how much taxi trips cost approx so you can work out best price to offer the taxis.
The rooms were fabulous and well maintained. The house keeping team were so good and very patient with us when we asked them to tend to our room at different times based on our schedule.
The hotel ammenities like the main pool, pool bar, spa were so enjoyable, very clean, tidy and always had helpful staff around.
Visit Jimmy at the Shades Pool bar for some quality chat and great drinks!
Samui is a great place to visit and if you walk along the beach you can visit other bars at other resorts too. Kimpton also has a great range of activities like kayaking and paddle boarding that you can try during the day as well and it’s so much fun!
Only thing is definitely haggle with the cab drivers and start like 50% below their asking price!
