We stayed in a superior room but didn’t have a view of Acropolis, perhaps other rooms do. You may want to ask them before you book. Our room has a tiny/ narrow balcony- just to stand. Food on the terrace is good and healthy.

I had a Superior Room it was 2 twins put together and a sofa pull out. the sofa pull out is not comfortable.. just ask for a roll away.

i would pick Plaka if you want to be near local stores & restaurants, we were just drawn into hanging there. i didnt explore Syntagma square maybe something i am missing.
