Lobby bleak and dark on entering. Room small and minimal amount of space to place belongings. The colour was cold and clinical and nothing to create a welcoming atmosphere. Could not believe it was classed as a 4 star hotel.

Since this was my first time to Greece, I wanted something centrally located and this hotel fit the requirements. Based on my solo travel they provided me with a room that was just enough space and comfort for one person. I absolutely loved the idea. Great alternative to air BnB, couch surfing or hostel. The affordability and cleanliness was unbeatable....

Hotel staff are as welcoming, helpful and excellent as always. We have several front desk gentlemen help us, and housekeeping was good. This hotel used to be one of our favorites when visiting Athens. We stayed for a few nights about three years ago, and decided to stay again. Still in the same location, but the area has "gone downhill"...

Absolute customer disinterest. No answer inquiries by Email or platform. After paying online and get the bonus not answer inquiries. This "technological" Hotel ignores basic customer service. I recommend looking elsewhere.

We stayed here for three nights and we were happy overall. Perfect location very close to the Metro station Omonia, small shops nearby, and just 5minutes on the metro to the central Syntagma. The bedroom was simple and presentable, the bathroom was very compact, but had the essentials, good shower and toilet and sink, all clean! Breakfast was very basic...

We didn't book this hotel, travel agent did. It was ok, but not what we like. I didn't enjoy the area, but central as such. The staff were very helpful and a good bed. I wouldn't stay here again though. There were 6 of us and a lot of small issues in each room didn't work.

Very anonymous hotel. Nothing stands out. The colors are bland, the decor bland, the breakfast is bland. But I slept quite well on the mattress, and survived 2 nights in a neigborhood that I really dont like (Omonia), very noisy streets on both sides of the hotel, and 'supicious' clientelle around the corner. Let the reception tell you which streets...

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially Elias. Good value for money as the hotel is reasonably priced, clean, newly refurbished and close to the metro/to the center of Athens. The highest rating goes to customer service. Thank you Elias for making this stay a pleasant one for a weary traveler from London!

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, great location (5mins walk from Omonia station), what else can anyone ask for at their price? It's totally value for money and restaurants nearby are cheaper than those in other areas like Plaka.

I stayed here for a night after finishing a greek island tour before leaving the country. The hotel was very modern and well presented. The receptionist spoke good english and even booked a taxi for me to the airport the next morning at 5:30am. Hotel was easy to find and located right near the main shopping square. Would stay there...

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
