It was our first time in Athens and as such the first time at the Royal Olympic. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and despite only having a room from 2pm the staff looked after us well and managed not only to get our room early but gave us a free upgrade! Our room was on the...

We didn't come to Athens to stay in our room. So the fact that the room was fairly small was insignificant - it had all the amenities we needed. What's great: it is a short walk to the Plaka where everything happens - shops, restaurants, excavation sites; and their rooftop restaurant serves an amazing breakfast and has breathtaking views of...

We understand that the hotel was fully booked so an early check in was unavailable however the staff didn't really assist us on what we could do in the three hours we had till check in. They mentioned they could keep the large suitcase but not the hand luggage due to safety of personal items. We found the pool but...

This hotel is ideally located near the Temple of Zeus, the Acropolis and Plaka (nice area with restaurants, bars and shops within a 5 min walk). The pool is great for an afternoon break from the heat and Gilda (pool bar attendant) was a doll. The rooftop restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast. Also had dinner there one night and although...

This hotel has some positive aspects:location and views. The hotel is situated really closed to the Acropoli so it's really a five minute walk to the Museum. Breakfast is nice as it's served on a terasse facing the Acropoli. But rooms/bathrooms need urgent renovation and the decoración couldn't be worse. It was probably once a top hotel but today it wouldn't deserve...

The hotel has an amazing website but sadly does not live up to it - its only redeeming feature is the roof terrace and during our stay the roof terrace was closed for one night so that the hotel could host a wedding The hotel was also very well situated within very easy walking distance of all the attractions such...

Directly opposite the Temple of Olympian Zeus and about 150 metres from the Acropolis Metro station, this hotel is ideally placed for walking to the Acropolis, Plaka, Monastiraki, Syntagma Square etc.. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very spacious - both rooms we had (we stayed twice) were large, comfortable and well appointed. The rooftop restaurant and bar has stunning...

Beautiful hotel in the center of Athens at the base of the Parthenon. Great service and the hotel was first rate. Breakfast was served on the rooftop restaurant with an amazing view of the Parthenon. In the evening you can have dinner or drinks there and see Athens lit up in all its glory,

Beautiful lobby in this hotel. Our room had a view over the pool but it was nice and quiet. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. GREAT breakfast on the rooftop with superb views. VERY POOR internet connectivity in our room. Had to go to the lobby to connect. Staff were helpful and courteous. Rooms are getting dated and need...
