Very welcoming and professional staff, comfortable and small rooms, and a fairly central location. Within walking distance of Omonia Square, Monastiraki and Plaka areas (where the best restaurants & shops are located). Recommended.

For the price, you could not get better. Rooms are small but very clean & comfortable. Breakfast good. Staff were excellent, very helpful & nothing was to much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was a hidden gem! The staff was the best.... And the hotel Bar was wonderful! It was right around the corner from the museum and close to the Acropolis and Parthenon. The room was clean and neat and the breakfast was great as well!

Nice hotel with outstanding service. Rooms on the small side & the bathrooms could be better designed. Location not the best, but easy access to buses and trains for main attractions. Excellent value for money and outstanding service

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western mainly because the staff really went beyond the call of duty with fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent breakfast, immediate taxi service, valuable directions, and good conversation. It is a short taxi to everything in Athens without being on a busy, noisy street. I would definitely bring my family again.

Easy access to main attractions. 10 minutes to the metro station (Victoria). We used the City-tour bus to travel in Athens. The bus station is 5 minutes from the hotel, at the front of the Architectural Museum.

Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
