The Hotel is very well Located in the centre of Athens. Parliament,Syngenta Square are just a Short walk from the Hotel. A very large Hotel. However the Rooms do need to be Refurbished. The Terrace Restaurant gives an Excellent View of Acropolis

The hotel is located in a place near Omonia Square and Syntagma Square. So you can access to everywhere with Metro easily. There are many restaurants nearby. The staffs are very kindly. The room with a terrace is large and clean with everyday maid-service. My experience was satisfactory.

Although we had a renovated room, it was very ordinary. No tea or coffee station, no complimentary water and the bathroom flooded when you showered. The lifts are very slow. The breakfast is ok, but not great. The rooftop bar is the highlight with lovely views. Staff very polite and helpful.

This is one of those hotels that had its prime a few decades ago... Suddenly, much went downhill. Unfortunately, among the so many thing that went under, the quality of the rooms was one of them. Although the images we see are of luxurious rooms, with ample space and fine furnishings, the reality was so much gummier. There was no...

Got a group rate, so it was a decent value. However, I have seen nicer Hilton Garden Inns to be honest. It is a full service hotel, but for breakfast I felt like I was in a make-shirt cafeteria at one of my kid's schools. Food was icky, and tables looked like they were brought in from a firehall. Worst...

The entrance of the hotel is beautiful, my husband and I were very excited to see what our room looked like! We had already spent a couple days in polis grand hotel, so we were expecting something similar. We entered our room and were very surprised. The rooms were small, smelt of smoke, the bathroom did not have a counter,...

Good location on a central boulevard close to heart of Athena; the services are good, breakfast not special but ok; there is a terrace at the last floor with an excellent view over the city and wonderful image to Acropolis specially at night. The only minus was the room which looks dated, not like a 3 stars hotel.

Very good value hotel for the centre of Athens. Obviously has been done up recently as our room on the 8th floor was lovely. Wi fi good. Breakfast great. We had a kettle but nothing else (no cups or tea / coffee etc. Would definitely return

The rooms in this hotel seem to be very diverse. On the upper levels from 6th, there are newly renovated rooms, partly with great views on the acropolis. On the lower levels, the rooms did not see any worker for the last ten years or so. Most interiors are damaged, the windows show a small, narrow and dirty backyard. But...

We were with friends and I don't recommend this hotel to anyone because the rooms are dirty, stinks and the restaurant is less than middling because of the food is unacceptable. The pasta was non well cooked, too chewy. THE HOTEL IS FIVE STARS!!! I MEAN!!!!!! HOW CAN IT BE????? GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
