Central hotel! Excellent service at reception. Internet is extra charge but you know it before you book, it is clear to all the sites. The breakfast is very good. Restaurants are excellent. The Olive Garden restaurant is unbelievable. Perfect food and amazing view! Ηλίας is an excellent waiter. I asked the room service beverages other directory and willingly brought. The...

This hotel was our groups first night in Athens before boarding a cruise ship into the Greek islands. Can I say awful !!!!! From the moment we entered the hotel the overwhelming smell of air freshener took my breath away. The staff was very busy and our early arrival meant our rooms were not ready. We stored our luggage and...

I traveled to Athens with a group of students and we were fortunate enough to stay at the Titania Hotel. The hotel is in an awesome location which is just a short walk to both the Plaka and the Parliament buildings. The Acropolis is also within a short 30 minute walk. The rooms were spacious, clean and the hotel staff...

Not too bad but agree with comments re Internet. We mostly had Greek sales and similar so food okay. Also staff unwilling to help us confirm transfer to airport, we do not speak Greek. They said " not our problem" Would not go back.

This was our first stay in Athens in 25 years and hoped for a really good experience. The rooms were really terrible- airconditioner broken, tiles in bathroom held on with dirty old putty, bed and pillows uncomfortable, no tea/coffee facility, minibar that was not cold plus having to pay a fortune for WIFI. It was not a good experience. On...

Great location right in the heart of Athens. Good staff. Rooms are ordinary. Beds are very small and barely adequate for two people. Expect very basic amenities in the room. No coffee, no kettle, no lotions, no conditioner, quirky hair drier etc.

From the Ground Floor area this looks like a five star place. Quite convenient location too. Excellent views of the Acropolis from the top floor bar. Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
