Close to everywhere we wanted to go and very close to the central subway station. Room was very pretty and clean. Staff was very gentle and helpful! The roof garden cafeteria after sunset has an amazing view Athens by night. A really dreamy "oneiric" atmosphere. The whole hotel was luxurious and clean!

Sitting in a crowded lobby, my first day in Greece is marred by a very frustrating wifi situation at this otherwise classy hotel. The only free wifi is one hour a day in the lobby on one device. All other options are pricey. Very cheesy. Giving me a headache. There is an Internet cafe close by but it won't be...

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights....i changed rooms 5 times in an hour due to a very strong odour from the bathrooms..(sewar???) The Hotel which is well located centrally boasts a large lobby...a nice brasserie and great Roof Garden with stunning views of Athens...The staff, while polite did not go out of their way and moved slowly to rectify...

We stayed for 6 nights during a conference. Our executive room with Acropolis view was very noisy. The hotel needs many improvements as due to the age it currently can be max. ranked 3*. Staff partly unfriendly. Food varieties and quality are average. The roof top facing Acropolis is more a smoker area. In total disappointing.

I stayed in Titania hotel first time about 6 years ago, and after, I was there since 29.10 till 02.11. 2014. The lobby is great, large, with very nice furniture, the personal is ok (but not 4 stars). The terrace at the top (the Olive Garden) is fantastic, with a great see to the Acropolis and one of the coldest...

The rooms are tiny. The bathrooms are even tinier! The hotel really needs A LOT of renovation to be rated as a 4-star hotel. I would give it a 2. Worst of all, no free wifi. And extremely overpriced if we were to purchase hourly or daily. It's 2014! Who doesnt give free wifi now-a-days? Or at least free in...

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
