Central location in Plaka, close to The Acropolis. Comfortable room if a little small. Helpful & professional staff. Super breakfast buffet. Shame about the graffiti on buildings nearby and in Athens generally but not the hotel's fault of course. Room with view of the Parthenon is worth the extra cost.

What a wonderful hotel and the staff are wonderful...nothing was too much trouble. Definitely coming back again. Couldn't fault anything....The view from the restaurant terrace ....WOW!! Food was exceptional....wonderful uncomplicated menu. My steak was not quite cooked the way I like it ...but when sent back it returned perfectly cooked......attention to detail was perfect.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with excellent staff. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very good with a large selection of foods. There is a great street nearby that has good shopping. They call it a "flea Market", but it's not. Most of the stores are very nice with restaurants scattered throughout. EXCELLENT bar...

We spent 5 nights here and the location is perfect. Turn left and go to the end of the road and a minute left is Syntagma square. Turn right and a three minute walk you have the shops and then the restaurants. The hotel is very nice inside although the staff could be a little friendlier. Our room ( 501)...

The hotel was amazing, on a central location, walking distance to every spot in Athens. The stuff were really kind, especially at the spa in the management of the most lovely Tena! the girls Alexa and Natalia had golden hands and the treatments were amazing. Thanks for Marina and Myrka as well for the lovely hospitality. Thank you again, Shirlee

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. Really close to all the major sights and shopping. The spa was well run, clean and relaxed but the fitness center was disappointing. The breakfast was very nice, the staff were helpful. .

Just book this hotel. It's right in the Plaka with a rooftop pool overlooking the Acropolis. That's all you need. Staff are friendly.....breakfast is fab and location great for roaming around. There is a new electra hotel opened in the plaka ....so check it out, but this is still my favourite.

The spa is very well run, extremely clean and has a very relaxed atmosphere. We had several treatments here which were all lovely. Alexandra and Elena, the two ladies who provided our treatments were very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
