Located in a quiet cul de sac, a five minute walk from the Acropolis Museum area, this place represents good value for money. My room was perfectly decent - clean and comfortable - although the bathroom was very small and the wifi signal was very weak. The area is quiet although some other guest were quite noisy - the doors... More

I've been there for 3 nights. Really nice place to stay. Clean rooms and friendly stuff. Location is also great - silent neighbourhood. Walking distance to every place. Prices are low so you do not have to spend a lot of money to be in a heart of the city.

The hotel is well seved by public transport (subway 10 minutes walking). Is also on a walking distance from the Agora and the Pantheon. The personnel is really friendly and the rooms are small but very clean.

I booked an ensuite room for a three night stop in Athens. I wanted to be close to the Acropolis (a pleasant ten minute walk via a number of nice restaurants for breakfast) but somewhere quiet (the hotel is in a cul de sac). I arrived late, so was given the code for the door and collected my key on... More

If you're looking for a cheap, quiet hotel in relatively close proximity to the Acropolis and all major tourist sites, this is it! Clean and comfortable, the hotel was a good base from which to explore the historical and architectural gems of Athens. Customer service was excellent; communication before our trip was clear and informative, meaning that we located the... More

The hotel is located out of the tourist area on a small quiet street, close to the metro and also close enough to walk to the Acropolis. Our room had a balcony, modern appointments in the bath, plenty of space for storing things, comfortable bed. Immaculately clean. Christos was very helpful in directing us toward good restaurants in the neighborhood... More

This is a three story hotel run by a family. We stayed in room 310 which is on the small side (which is common for a big city like Athens) but the patio more than makes up for it. Note: there is not an elevator and you have to carry your own bag, but that didn't matter to me. There... More

This is a lovely place, very close to the metro. We stayed for two nights and paid on average £43 per night. The room that we had was amazing with a tiny balcony, great bed and clean bathroom. The staff on duty are a bit hit and miss, one was friendly and welcoming and the other didn't seem bothered. Breakfast... More

Lovely friendly hotel, ideally situated for visiting all the major attractions on foot. Bedrooms very modern and comfortable. Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting the city. Easy to access from the airport by metro. Full marks

The Marble House was a perfect place for our stay in Athens. Walking distance to the acropolis, place, monasteraki..about 15min. Great coffee place on the corner. Staff is amazing and so great! Taxi service available on request. Balcony for the double room is private and large and perfect as the room itself is not too large..but this has been common... More
