Yes, this hotel is run down and a little tired. But it was super cheap, the location is excellent, the rooftop bar is beautiful, and the staff were friendly. It's excellent value for money. The hot breakfast was a little lacking, but the cold options...More
Good little hotel in the ideal location for everything in Athens. Everything is within walking distance. The views in the morning at breakfast and the evening at the bar are amazing. The Acropolis lit up at night is a must see from the top.
You can not beat the location however this budget hotel needs some work as the rooms are tired and worn. The roof top cafe provides a great view of the acropolis particularly in the evening, albeit a bit cool in the end of September. Hotel...More
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of
Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.

It takes about 10 mins to get to the Jason inn. When you go up the escalator at monasteraki make a sharp right to the first corner, make a right on the corner keep going down until the street turns to the right you will pass 2 hardware stores as you pass them follow that road pass one street & make a right, you will see the hotel. The rooms are very spacious, beds comfortable, you have a small fridge, a balcony, toilet & shower normal size, the breakfast is basic with scrambled eggs, sausages, fruits, toast, cake, yougard etc. For me it was perfect. Enjoy
