We stayed here intermittently throughout our tour of Greece, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, it has all the amenities you need in a great location, and the customer service was superb! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We left early on a few days for tours, and they went out of their way to accomodate us,...

A warm welcome. Lift a little cosy but adequate. Comfortable room with a huge bed, bathroom under par. Perhaps only a 3 star- the shower leaked dreadfully every single time. Breakfast was very nice, something for everyone with plenty of choice. Would stay again, but wouldn't stay in that particular room.

We loved this hotel, not only was it central it was comfortable & the staff were really accommodating. The restaurant upstairs was lovely & the views spectacular although the quality of the drinks did change with the bar staff. The food was amazing both upstairs & in the cafe. The breakfast was extensive & relaxing too. My only complaint was...

It is not a luxury hotel but you will find everything you need. It is well located in the center of Athens and the price I got was good. Rooms are clean, bathroom is small and a little bit old but it was not a serious problem.

I am staying for more than 10 days. It is very clean and the staff's behaviour is perfect. The room is big enough with all the necessary comforts. Even if the neighboor is not so clean, it is very convenient because you have access in public transport and in local market.

Nice hotel, it was warm in our room, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, good food at the bar, free fi-wi. The receptionists advised us everything we ask. Just 5 minutes to the central streets / by taxi.

Good clean hotel with a nice view to the Acropolis, good customer service and kind staff. Comfortable beds with good pillows (I never like the pillows at any hotel) Non-smoking room with the option of a nice small balcony for smokers. The area is generally quiet at night and safe too with restaurants, shops and kiosks.

Rooms were comfy and porch was a plus. Reception was very helpful. We also loved the roof top restaurant which had amazing views of the Acropolis. We checked out at 5am. Reception booked our transfer and had arranged breakfast boxes for us which was very thoughtful. Close to a train station and one of the stops for the bus stores....

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
