Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good breakfast selection. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel is not located in the best area. Great view of Athens on the rooftop. Most rooms come with a balcony.

Nice and clean rooms. We had a goodnight sleep thanks to the great big bed. They have a healthy breakfast with detox water, homemade lemonade, ..I liked the restaurant at the rooftop .They serve great food but I prefere to eat in the old center of Athene because of the admosphere. We enjoyed our stay!!

The hotel is not a 4 star hotel. Two star hotels in the UK are better than this. Breakfast was poor selection and quality. The area that the hotel is located is one of the worst parts of Athens. Walking around the nearby streets, the smell of urine is overpowering.

Great quality-price deal, very friendly staff, very nice breakfast buffet. 2 minutes walk from the metro and that s very easy to use in athens but the zone where the hotel is located is not very reassuring. No incidents happened with us during our week stay there. Recommended hotel

One of the best hotels ever in Athens. Value for money with all comforts. I was there on a personal check after Volos for a night and was very pleased. Well located, safe, family or business trip is a yes.

Stayed for a week, room was lovely and staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. This hotel is in the heart of Athens so expect some traffic noise. We walked to all the main attractions, there was no need to use public transport, the location is ideal. Breakfast was lovely. Can not recommend highly enough.

I stayed in Room 808 May 5-8, 2016. My room was on the top and had a view of the city and mountains, not the Acropolis side which was ok as I got to watch the sunsets over Athens. My bed was also comfortable and the room had a safe to lock your valuables up which was really nice as...

This is a family hotel in central Athens and obviously popular with tourists. Our unfurnished balcony had a view of the adjacent office blocks, but then there is an excellent cafeteria/lounge/bar on the ground floor. The hotel is situated in a commercial area, not very 'touristy' but absolutely safe as the police station is only a few metres away. The...

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
