TripAdvisor is proud to partner with Booking.com, Hotwire, Priceline, TripOnline SA, Agoda and Hotel.de so you can book your Hotel Myrto Athens reservations with confidence. We help millions of travellers each month to find the perfect hotel for both holiday and business trips, always with the best discounts and special offers.
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
My credit card was also charged immediately upon booking. Do I need to show proof on my bank statements regarding the deduction when checking in or the hotel receptionist will already be notified? It'll be great if any past guests could help as I wouldn't want to be double-charged. Thanks!

I arranged my hotel reservation through well known online booking organization. When I arrived at the hotel, I gave them my name and confirmation booking number, which the receptionist was aware of. I was charged for my hotel when I arrived, so there was no risk of being charged twice. This is a reputable hotel, I doubt very much that they would double charge their guests. I hope this helps - happy travels!
