My husband and I were delighted with our choice of this hotel. The location is fantastic, right behind the Metropolis Cathedral and close to restaurants and shops in a good area. The room was small, but spotlessly clean, with an ultra modern bathroom. But best...More
We stayed there for a night for our one day stay in Athens. It was a reachable walking distance from the Syntagma train station and easy to find. What strike us most was the friendly and helpful reception we received upon arrival. For those with...More
We stayed one night in between our flight from Santorini and our flight to the USA. We took the Metro from the airport (9 Euros per person) to the Syntagma station (45 minute ride). From there it is a 5 minute straight shot walk to...More

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,
bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
