The is a great cheap hotel. The place is clean and tidy. The rooms are large for Europe. The service is friendly. Close to markets. The train station is very close. This is by now means a luxury or romanic hotel but does serve a purpose. Would stay there again.

The Receptionist at the hotel was extremely helpful with our situation since we were sent to this hotel after another one was overbooked. We would like to heartily thank the female Receptionist for her constant assistance during our stay which we eventually enjoyed at this hotel. Keep up the good work.

It's a small, clean and comfortable hotel down a small street in Central Athens. Room was quite nice and the staff were terrific and very responsive to my queries and requests. Close to the Metro and walking distance to the Acropolis and Athens Flea Market. For the price, it can't be beat!

Got a bargain price. Small but comfortable rooms, dont expect any scenic view. Front office stAff is good and helpful. Breakfast is basic but enough to get u going. Best part is location, next to Metro line. I like walking, so walked most places from here. Journey back to airport was good with one train change.

Very nice, was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room having stayed also at a couple of nearby hotels. Hotel was clean, breakfast ok, my fave restaurant was only 200 metres away next to the Omonio train station.

We had a room on the 8th floor, so we had a very nice view over the city. It was very quiet, because it is located in a rare frequented street. Breakfast buffet was soso, too much sweet things, cakes, cookies,...I missed the variety. Nice staff. The hotel had a perfect location. The metro was 3 min away and Plaka...

If you are looking for a budget hotel in downtown Athens, this is an excellent choice. Rooms are large and comfortable and quiet and clean. The location is excellent. If you like to walk, this is walking distance to any location of interest in Athens -- Acropolis, Archeological Museum, Monastikri, Thission, Plaka, Syntagma, etc. If you don't want to walk,...

I stayed here for a week in January. Staff were very friendly, room was extremely clean, breakfast was good selection with great quality food considering the price (mine was included in hotel room price). Bathroom and rooms good sized with nice shower and more than sufficient wardrobe space. Decor also pleasant and bed comfortable. Perfect site - literally seconds away...

I came to Greece with my school and we stayed at this hotel. On the last night I had to sleep on a couch (not super comfortable) and during the four meager hours that I was able to sleep, I woke up at least four times itching myself. Finally at three am I got up and saw there were insects...

Friendly and welcoming staff, the location of the accommodation is very close to Ommonia square and there is lots to do. Breakfast at the hotel was of good variety and tasted nice. I slept well, there was a double bed, and the hotel room had a bathroom which was nice.

Thank Jeje L

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.

“All rooms have balconies. Can see Acroplis lit up at night from common area on 8th floor.”

“ If this is what it is like in other rooms then this issue needs fixing. The shower was too small in my standard room and without a proper door water goes all over the bathroom floor. The shower head was too loose so holding the shower was not ideal, fix this and add maybe one or two English channels and this would be great. Apart from this a lovely hotel.”
