Don't be fooled by the location. It's close to public transport and monastriiaki district. The staff at O&B Boutique Hotel superseded our expectations. Elvis and the staff went above and beyond the service expected. Nothing was too difficult for them. Our room was initially a superior room which was street facing and very noisy due to the window not sealing...

Lovely arrival with ice water, a shot of ozou and some delicious snacks. The hotel staff was helpful in providing directions, recommendations and accomodated our early 6am checkout. Boxed breakfast was even prepared with no extra charge. However, our Saturday and Sunday nights were sleepless. Our room faced the street with a bumping night club. Just as the night club...

We stayed at O&B Athens boutique hotel for 3 nights before heading off to Mykonos. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is within walking distance to Monastiraki square as well as the Acropolis, it's within a few minutes walk from Thissio metro station if you are coming from the airport via the train. It can be a...

We booked this hotel thanks to recommendations on trip advisor. The location was good the staff excellent, they bent over backwards to meet any need. Especially Julia she was a delight. The room was dark and tiny, I had to open the curtains to get enough light to put makeup on. The view from our room was "seedy looking buildings...

We stayed here for 3 nights before going to the islands and had a great time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great as its walking distance to most of the attractions, and there are some great restaurants nearby. The breakfast menu had a lot of options and the same items were not repeated.

My wife and I stayed at the O and B last night, and we were very impressed by the staff, service, food, and view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Thank you Elvis (yes, Elvis) and Julia for the prompt and helpful care. The only drawback is the neighborhood. If the O and B were located away from the surroundings,...

We came to Athens for our honeymoon and I picked this hotel based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. First off, we got to the hotel pretty early from our flight, around noon and i don't believe check in is unit 2. They told us that we would only need to wait 30 min and that they would...

My family and I had one night in Greece before traveling to the islands and we wanted to be close enough to the attraction to have easy access without expensive cab rides. I booked this hotel for its proximity to the Acropolis and other significant sites, and I really didn't expect much in terms of service. I was blown away....

My wife and I elected to stay at O&B after sailing for a week with friends in the Greek Isles. From the marina we took a cab who delivered us to the front of the very nondescript hotel. Immediately upon checking in we knew the place was special. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. In fact they...

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
