The hotel is very central and walking distance to airport, port, Acropolis, metro and local restaurants. We were able to walk to everything even though there are multiple types of transportation available. Breakfast was awesome as well as staff. The staff was very professional, pleasant and helpful. Athens is a large city with lots of activities, so the city does...

It's not often, but once in a great while you come across a venue that is absolutely fantastic. When we first arrived, we were a little skeptical. The location doesn't look very good. But, once inside, we were greeted with a very competent and professional staff; even met with a cold glass of ice water after our journey. Unable to...

We had made our booking 10 months before our arrival date, so we could request Junior Suite room 24 for our 3 night stay. Cost E220 per night. So very glad we did. Location: There have been several reviews about the neighbourhood around the hotel, yes there is one sex shop, yes there is graffiti, but we never felt threatened...

Walking distance to sites in the city center. Made an effort to make our stay special - they sent up a tray of wine and fruit when we arrived since it was our honeymoon. Friendly staff and large, tasty included breakfast. Modern rooms but feel a little worn.

We got to the hotel easily via the metro from the airport for 8 euros each. It's close to the city centre and the pedestrian shopping area. You can walk to the Acropolis & there are a variety of restaurants and bars within easy walking reach. We never had to take a taxi to go out. You can get to...

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the O&B in September. We stayed in the Jr Suite, Acropolis View. The hotel was great. Our room was clean and modern, well appointed, comfortable and we had a perfect view of the Acropolis. We also had a nice balcony over looking the street. The staff was very helpful, especially Elvis. The...

We stayed at this hotel two different nights. It's conveniently located within a 5 min walk of the Montastiraki metro station where we arrived from the airport. The Acropolis and central attractions are about a 10 minute walk. Also, there's another metro station 100m down the street which goes to Piraeus where we took our ferry. The staff was extremely...

Lovely little hotel in a funky part of town, within walking distance of the major attractions, shopping area, flea market, great restaurants and cafes. Cosy rooms with good balconies - I recommend the Acropolis view room!

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
