Located in the heart of Athens. Walking distance to many attractions and museums. The hotel has 16 rooms and the hotel has many amenities. The staff here is absolutely fantastic. So friendly and gracious. Our family stayed here 2 weeks while visiting family. The entire staff made us feel like family. Anything we needed they took care of it. We...

This is a great little hotel very close to the city centre and all the shopping just a short 10 minute walk through the beautiful park and you are right there so the location is perfect. Very quiet and lovely staff who couldn't have done more for us. Great continental breakfast for just 7 euros booked through reception. The rooms...

We stayed here for the Athens Marathon and it was a perfect location. Very close to the stadium and within walking distance of several good neighborhood restaurants. It was also close to tour bus stops as well as public transportation. The staff was outstanding and we felt like we were leaving friends after our stay. They are renovating the bathrooms...

Maybe the location is the only thing that is likeable. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful... - very small shower - The room was at the basement of the hotel without window - Room's ventilation works awful, air was very bad and it smelled something old, dirty and strange. - Filters in aircondition were dirty

Stayed for two nights in classic triple with balcony. Very close to sights and local bars and restaurants. Room simple but clean. Balcony was really large. Peaceful side street. Staff were very helpful. Great value. Visit the Black Sheep restaurant which is top notch and great value- but you will need to book as very popular.

This location of this hotel was great for sightseeing within walking distance of most places. The staff were very helpful. The only downside was the breakfast which was not great. We only had breakfast once and for 7 euros were not impressed. Much better breakfast in the coffee shop round the corner for half the price.

I wasn't expecting much just a decent place to stay in Athens and this place takes the cake. Clean room that accommodated 3 guests with 3 beds and had a small balcony to go outside. Would like to give a shout out to the staff for adjusting my reservation at the last moment due to the ferry strike this week....

If you want a cheap place and well located in Athens this is the right hotel. We booked a basement room, which was very cheap, the facilities were nice, the room was clean, the bathroom could be a little bit better, but was OK. The problem is that you can hear everything that happens in the other rooms and at...

Staying in Pangrati

Neighbourhood Profile
The elongated Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, acts as grand gateway to the otherwise purely Athenian neighborhood of Pangrati. This area of typical small squares, busy main roads and residential streets will give you a clear sense of what living in this metropolis is like. A walk up quiet Markou Mousourou Street on the west side of the stadium will bring you past the First National Cemetery to Mets, home to many expats. Turn right to reach the charming Platia Varnava. East of the stadium, commercial Eratosthenous Street leads to rather nondescript Platia Plastira, from where Effranoros Street continues uphill to Platia Profiti Ilia, crowned by a huge church. Among the standard four- to six-story apartment blocks that typify Athens, Pangrati also boasts some genuinely authentic tavernas and the odd trendy bar.
