We deliberately choose Crystal city hotel ( knowing this neighbourhood from the previous stay in Athens in near hotel Stanley) as a focal point for our leisure activities during our 4 night stay in Athens but we wanted something less official. We didn.t want specifically to be in the centre, or should i say when we are out all day... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights early October. I was really impressed with how friendly and helpful all the staff were. Spent every evening on the Roof Top terrace and Dimitri, the young waiter, was outstanding with his service. I used a pre-paid shuttle service from the airport (Get Your Guide )as travelled alone and they were waiting... More

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. It was great! Staff is very friendly, rooms are small but in good condition. They clean the rooms every day, bring new towels and toiletries. Also breakfast was really nice! Good variety of food like eggs (boiled, scrambled, fried) jams, sausages, cereal, crossaints and of course Greek yoghurt is served. Unfortunately for us... More

Wauw, what a level of service in this hotel! When we checked in the reception offered to help us arrange some rental car problems, very nice! Also, we got breakfast in a lunchbox because we had to fly in the night. The walking route to Acropolis is a challenge, but other then that, I would highly recommend this hotel for... More

I noticed before I left that this hotel had a lot of negative reviews so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The location is central for the underground train and bus stops to get to any attraction in the city. You could also walk/bicycle easily if you are energetic enough! It is surrounded by restaurants, bakeries and newsagent stands... More

We stay 4 nights here. The hotel is very closed to the metro (the right exist without the lift/elevator). There is a bakery just next to the hotel which have salad, bread, cake, hot food with very reasonable price. It's very convenient. The down side is the hotel lift is too small and during our stay, only one was working... More

My fiancé booked three nights away in Athens for new year and the impression we were left with was not good. The girl on the front desk was aggressive in her tone and not welcoming. We were disgusted by the bed linen (if you can even call it that), we felt dirty just lying on it, although had no other... More

This hotel is around the corner of metaxourgio metro station what make it very hand to go to all touristic places I wanted to visit. Breakfast is fair, normal service, but bathroom was not 100% clean. There was some hair left on the bath tube. :(
