Niki Hotel, offers since 1976 its warm hospitality in the center of Piraeus. Our location is ideal, as situated in a discreet and quiet area, near(5 minutes walking) the main port of the country, the subway, the Athens suburban train station, as well as all the commercial shops. Our long experience makes us one of the best choices in our sector. We offer 24 spacious rooms with modern decoration, 2 suites with king size beds (located in the first basement of the hotel ), four options isometric lights and jacuzzi for 2 persons. At the same time we believe you will be impressed by our reception area, which is harmoniously completed by a beautiful lounge. The Hotel is Located 8 km from the Acropolis and 35 km from the airport. The bus-station from where you can go to the airport, Acropolis, or various beaches is located 500 meters from the Hotel.
Great basic hotel close to port. 5-10 minute walk. Perfect for early morning ferry trips. Room was basic but had all you need (aircon, tv, bathroom, towels and linnen). Only negative was the bed was a little hard. Great value for money! Also breakfast was €5 per person for ham and cheese toasted sandwich, tea/coffee/juice. I felt safe but i was with my partner, might be a bit different if i was a solo female traveller as it is located down an ally way. I would stay here again if i had an early morning ferry. I

I've stayed in lots of hotels in Pireaus as my father lives on an island nearby so I am often there waiting to get a ferry early the next day. This is the best hotel I have stayed in there- I thought they could have charged a lot more given the standard of the room I stayed in. Nicely decorated, clean. The family working there were really helpful (I noticed that they were kind to a stray cat hanging about outside which was nice for a cat lover to see!) I was shocked so see the negative reviews of this place - I couldn't fault it. The location in Piraeus is more functional than it is glamorous (closer to shops, supermarkets and the boats than the fancier bit with the cobbled streets and boutiques) but it's close to the boats and they are a cut above the rest and a real…

It was quite the hike up the hill with luggage from the port. And kind of secluded. Construction was being done on the street. Worked great for what we needed though. Walkable distance to the port and we were able to walk down the street to get coffee in the morning.

Nice room, friendly staff (they even prepared a small breakfast today at almost 11am). Close to Piraeus harbor (5-10 minutes walk depending on your departure gate). Also same distance to Piraeus metro station and easily to reach from both points. Room is a little small for 3 persons and doesn't have a refrigerator, but all in all is ok for a few nights. WiFi is working properly at 4th floor.

In fairness, we arrived very late due to a late train so we had to check in after 3am. I had alerted the hotel that we might arrive after 2am. Luckily there was a desk clerk on duty to check us in but the room we got (we had lots of luggage) was horrible. It was clean, the only good thing I can say but struggling with all of our luggage down a spiral staircase at 3:30am just sucked. Taking a shower without a shower curtain leaving the floor totally soaked also sucked. Yes, it was relatively convenient to the port but way over priced for what we got.

We were sent by our Hotel owner , cause our reservation was missed and due to overbooking period it was the closest option we had had. Plus the fact that we were tired from boats delay, so we would think to give it a try, after all how bad an overnight stay could be. First of all, the location is very dark and suspicious, the only room left was in the basement, it stunk odor and cigarette smoke. The A/C made things worst, so I turn it off. The noise was horrible, was coming from almost every ankle, faulty pluming, elevator engine, washing drying machines etc. In addition the next room was make a lot fuss, needed to call the reception twice and finally took over the situation by knocking their door. It was a worst nightmare, I've ever experienced. Avoid at all cost. Funny…

good evening.first of all we believe its unacceptable if you book a room in a hotel and they dont keep a room for you.so its better to ask the reason why this happened to the hotel you made your booking and left you without room in high seasson in piraeus where all the hotels are full.in addition when you came to our hotel we were full and we show you the room first(because we understand that may you have a problem with basement) to rest for a few hours than sleeping at street like the other hotel almost did.the room is medium size room and has full air condition, double bed, private bathroom and tv and that was the best option we can offer you because all other rooms were full.you havent prepaid for our room and you didnt give a deposit or something so you had the option to not stay to our hotel if something didnt like you and ask from the hotel you booked to find you a room as by the law have to do.we never pressure to stay.of course if you book a room to our hotel we will keep a room at high floor.its was the only solution we can offer you at the time you come(in august high season and almost midnight).we believe its better to offer you at least somewhere to stay than not having nothing to accommodate you like the hotel you officially booked and leave you without room.thank you.
