Took the boat from Agios Nikolaos to Spinalonga, the English speaking guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the island, and the inhabitants. it was very interesting to hear the history of the island of tears and definitely worth a visit.

Boarding from Plaka, the cost is 8e for two crossings, and is very easy to arrange using the kiosk on the jetty. There is an additional 8e to actually get past the entrance. After that you're as on your own as you can be with...More
