I say better late than never. We just arrived from our fantastic 7 week trip, and our first stop: Crete in general, but Chania in particular enchanted us. And the most enchanting place of all was Mama Nena's. From the moment we arrived and entered the foyer, with the wonderful Diana helping us with the luggage, to the moment we...

Love, love, loved this sweet hotel, more like a B&B. Character, charm, location, personal attention, all so delightful, the most welcome stay on our 2 week vacation in Greece. Breakfast specially prepared for each guest, local food, abundant, delicious, perfection.

As soon as I saw this hotel on the internet I wanted to book it! Unfortunately it was booked out as it only has three rooms. yiannis from Crete travel, however, managed to have no trouble to get us in. Thank you Yiannis, we would have been terribly sad to stay anywhere else. Martina stayed up late to welcome us...

One year ago we stayed 3 nights here and it was glorious. Marina met us in the foyer of this grand house that used to belong to her grandmother. She had tastefully incorporated elements of this throughout including a dress and suitcase on display on the first floor where we stayed. Looking through the open door to our room we...

This hotel is simply wonderful. Its location is perfect, right on the waterfront. The room I stayed in - Matina - had an unbelievable view of the water and a small balcony where we could enjoy the raki they left for us. The room was spacious and so comfortable. The hotel has been perfectly restored and is a breathtaking mix...

Amazing place designed with every detail taken into consideration. Hugely thoughtful and helpful service from Matina & Diana, especially when we realised a few hours after checking out that we had lost a phone. Fantastic location - definitely good value.

Our family stayed at Mama Nena's Charming Hotel for 3 nights/4 days this spring and our visit could not have been more perfect. The hotel is located in the heart of old town Chania with a breathtaking view of the bay. We stayed in the largest room on the top floor, which was a great fit for our family of...

We stayed for a few nights out of season. Great views on the port, lovely house, lovely owner, nice breakfast. Rooms are noisy and in high season this must be a downside as it will be very busy below the hotel. Otherwise absolutely a place to go back to.
