We chose a small room to suit our budget, but it was very comfortable. The bed was two bases with a smaller, thin mattress on top - it looked a bit unusual but was extremely comfortable. The kitchenette in the corner was adequate to prepare breakfast as this is not included if you use Booking.com. There is a lift to... More

We stayed here at the Palazzo Duca Hotel during our honeymoon. This was the first stop on our trip for 3 nights. We rented the top suite which had a private terrace and hot tub which were both clean and amazing. The room itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is about a 2 second walk... Our last night of three in this great apartment the standard is excellent and the location is fantastic, you are 40 mts from the harbour right in the middle of the " old town" The apartment is clean with all the amenities you need. Right from check nothing was too much and the staff were great. There are great restaurants... More

We stayed here for 4 nights while in Chania town. It is in a great location, only a few steps from the harbour front. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful with parking places etc. There is a lovely roof terrace to sit in the evening with a glass of wine and look out over the... More

We stayed at Palazzo Duca for four nights during our visit to Hania. The location could not be more perfect. The hotel is just behind the Venetian harbour in the city's historic centre. All sights in Hania are within walking distance and there are countless wonderful restaurants in the area. (We recommend that you do not eat in the restaurants... More

In researching where to stay in Chania I kept coming back to the Palazzo Duca because no one had a bad word to say about it, the price was right and it couldn't be better located. The hotel occupies an old building that has been simply but excellently done up and is a short block from the harbour. I requested... More

My husband and I started our honeymoon in Chania and could not be more pleased. This is a perfect hotel within steps from the harbor and restaurants and bars. We stayed in their jacuzzi suite. The room was very spacious and very clean. The wifi was very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We spent our first three nights in Crete in Palazzo Duca. The location in the heart of the Old Town was perfect, no distance from the bustling scenic harbour yet so quiet. Loved the crumbling ancient surroundings, so near to fabulous restaurants (Tamam, Portes). Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast, with good choices, on the veranda a great start... More
