we stayed one night as a layover between southern crete and an early morning flight. the hotel was ok. in a kind of hospital room way. it was clean and very very basic, but for the price hey why not? the reception was nice enough and the breakfast was what you expect for one of the cheapest hotels in town....

I have made several visits this year on business and stayed at the Arkadi on both occasions. In my opinion, overall this without doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. Better in many respects than some of the 5 star hotels I use in business. I last stayed at the beginning of December 2016, as the culmination of end...

So close to the Old Town and Harbor. There's also a taxi pickup across the street (a taxi ride is only 5-7€ to the nearby beaches). The housekeeping leaves a new design out of the fresh towels each day on the bed. The free breakfast saved us a lot of money over our stay in Chania but didn't vary much...

I wish someone would put a "mind your head" sign above the entrance to the breakfast room, to stop anyone over 5 feet 10 inches tall cracking their heads on the top of the doorway. The breakfast was the standard continental/Greek meal, perfectly nice, and plentiful. Reception staff here are always very pleasant. The lift is supposed to accommodate three...

Stayed in this hotel for a week with a group of Hillwalkers, all of whom were pleased with their experience there. Situated close to all amenities on 1866 Square right at the border between the beautiful, though touristy, Old Town and the more modern new part of town, with its many shops and local bars and restaurants. The main tour...

We went to Chania in June 2016. Based on the reviews we chose to stay at Arkadi Hotel. Definitely this hotel is the best choice to make in Chania. I can definitely sat that there is no other better location in the city, in particular, hotel is near the bus station and bus stop, just 2 minutes walk from the...
