The harbor is very romantic, lively, full of history. the Casa Leone is a beautiful place to stay. I recommend getting takeout from any nearby restaurant and enjoying dinner on the small balcony off the dining room- you'll have a bird's eye view from an almost hidden place. also, a short stroll away is a nice local beach with several...

I was very impressed by this hotel and I strongly recommend it. First of all, it is set in an old Venetian building carefully restored, with a wonderful balcony in the hall looking at the sea and at the Venetian harbour. So, it was like breathing a Venetian air in Greece, a reald dream! We choose the suite looking at...

My husband and I spent the first leg of our honeymoon at Casa Leone, and we loved every minute of it. The room was beautiful (the Estia room), and we didn't experience any of the club noise that other reviews mentioned (we were there on a weekend as well). The location can't be beat - you're right next to the...

We chose Casa Leone after reading the glowing reviews on trip advisor. It is indeed a very atmospheric and lovely hotel, and all around a wonderful place to stay in Chania. The staff are delightful and kind, and are a credit to the place. Here are my caveats, in order of importance: 1. We had our toddler with us, and...

Back again to Casa Leone for our second stay. We had to stay elsewhere in Chania last year, course this hotel has only 5 rooms…. Nikos, Antonia and Maria are still part of our Chanian family. This is a small hotel, and that makes contact with the staff very personal. They all try to do the best to make us...

My wife and I stayed at Casa Leone from 9/12-19. This is without a doubt THE place to stay in Chania. You're may look at the pictures of and from Casa Leone on their website and think "it can't be that beautiful". But it is actually MORE beautiful in person. I've been to Chania more than once, and Casa Leone...

We loved the hotel with its charm, wonderful views and sense of history. There are only five rooms and because we booked very late we had three rooms in our three day stay - and changed in a fourth. Each one has its own character and is finished to the same high standard. The balconies are breathtaking. The staff are...

I must admit to reading all of the praise and being just a little bit cynical, but IT REALLY IS THAT WONDERFUL! Where else in the world could you call a hotel when you are a little swirly after a long international flight and have someone like Maria walk out to find you at the Old Harbor Walls?! Once inside...

What can you say about this gem? An entrance romanticly hidden and tucked away down back streets yet a view that makes you feel like royalty. Wake up to ancient bulidings and bobbing boats in this stuning port. Lovely restored rooms that feel Venetian and luxurious with a host of details. But the best thing about this place is Antonia....
