It was a very nice room with a beautiful view of the harbour. Very friendly atmosphere and beautiful terraces. Unfortunetly breakfast is not included in the (expensive) price. It's 10 Euros and except of the coffee and the orange juice It was not delicious.

We stayed here for a week the first week of September 2016 and loved it. We had a superior sea view room ( well worth the extra for the stunning view) and enjoyed everything about the hotel. The room was lovely, the staff were very friendly, helpful in every respect and couldn't do enough for us. Particular mention must be... More

We stayed here for our last night in Crete great location overlooking the harbour of which we had a view of from our small window, however you don't need a window with the selection of private terraces with superb views. The room was huge with a four poster bed, grand fireplace and spiral staircase down to private bathroom.. although the... More

Stayed in a second floor room adjacent to an amazing terrace which overlooked the harbour. Lovely staff...a great first night stopover in Chania...buffet style breakfast that you could eat outside on the pavement or as we did, on the terrace...

The Amphora is very visible on the harbour side, but its entrance is quite hidden -you can either walk along the harbour westwards to the Maritime Museum, turn left up a paved slope, turning left at the lane marked "Antoni Gampa" and walk along to what looks like a dead-end, but at the end there is a lane off to... 5 friends booked two rooms - both rooms were amazing - floors beautiful wood furniture so lovely - three bed had a mezzanine level - 2nd had gorgeous 4 poster bed - would be so romantic for a couple. Staff were very friendly and efficient - very happy with our treat for one night in amazing Chania Harbour.

We spent a night there with my husband in the end of August during a short pass by Chania town. Even though the edifice is quite old, the rooms are very tidy and clean. The concierge was very kind and the service very good! Above all though, what takes your breathe away is the great terrace on the top that... More

Whatever you do, don't take a room view on the sea view. You will never be able to sleep, night clubs, bars, people shouting, plus ultra thin walls for other guests. Payed for three nights but left just after two sleepless nights. Worst experience ever along with an inexistant staff... Trust me - Don't go there!!!

My friend and I stayed in Hotel Amphora from July 7/30/16 to 7/31/16 (2 nights) although we were booked for 4 nights. This is fairly a small hotel. The hotel is located right on the harbor which was an ideal location for us. The hotel including our room was nicely decorated and clean. The only problem this hotel had and... More
