A very comfortable stay with a homely vibe. This old venetian building offers spacious, modern rooms with high ceilings, but stays true to its venetian origins through its furniture and decor (and a four poster bed!) Since it's part of a cafe, it means that you can pop downstairs easily enough for coffees and drinks. The staff are extremely friendly...

It's a very nice place to stay. We've been there in December 2011 and it was very strange, at first. When we arrived there was nobody there: just a mobile number on the door. We rang and the manager came. When we asked how would we get in again if we wanted to get for dinner, he smiled and handed...

Our family of 4 stayed at the Doge Hotel in two stints during July 2013. First in two separate twin rooms, then in one family room.We had a great time there. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the old town, walking distance to everything - marvellous ambience and atmosphere. The hosts were terrific - very helpful and...

It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. They gave us useful advice about restaurants. They gave us complementary wine, fruit, water and juice. The location of the hotel was great (near the port, the cafes, the shops and the bus center). The decoration of the room was really nice. They made us felt like home. We adored it.

The hotel has comfy rooms with lots of space and is clean with friendly service. The breakfast is adequate although it could use some improvment. The best thing by far is its location. Trust my when I say you could not have a better location for a hotel at Chania!!! Situated at the heart of the old city, it makes...

If you want a hotel room for you and your family with space and personality then this is the perfect hotel. Right in the centre of town. Yet so quiet and peaceful and the air conditioning spot on. Loved the family room which was split into two levels, felt a shame to leave the room but then you need to...

A little bit confusing at first as this seems to be a hotel come cafe, come ice cream shop, come jewellery/souvenir shop - at ground level anyway. Its right in the centre on a pedestrianised street, so you need to be able to carry you luggage as no parking outside. The superior room was large, beautifully decorated, nice bed, TV,...

Located right in the heart of old town near the old port, easy to walk everywhere, surrounded by cute little shops, cafes, and great restaurants. However was quite noisy at night due to this location but we put in a pair of earplugs and were good to go! We were also on street level- rooms on the upper floors may...

We just returned from Chania and from our 2 night accommodation in Doge Hotel. The Hotel is in the old city, 2 minutes from the sea. It's in the pedestrian area and everything is within walking distance, restaurants, cafes, shops etc. From KTEL bus station is 4 minutes by foot. Our room was very spacious, clean and unlike other reviews,...
