Location location location. Great breakfasts and firm beds in the historic Old Town area of Chania near restaurants (good ones), the harbor, and some of the best shopping and sightseeing in Crete. The building is a 17th century (Venetian) house and as such has its quirks. It is not an ultra modern luxury palace but a wonderfully comfortable and quiet...

The Belmondo is perfectly located in a central position, right at the old Venetian harbour. I think it's important to say that this hotel is not a typical western hotel. It's not luxurious or fussy in the least. What it is is clean, traditional and extremely authentic. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The balcony view is mesmerising and...

If you are heading to Chania- do not miss this place and definitely go for a suite- it is unbelievably worth it! I am not one who usually goes for a suite simply because I don’t spend loads of time hanging out in the hotel. But this hotel room you simply do not want to leave. The balcony overlooks the...

No windows, no parking, no reception. Just an insane air conditioning impossible to set. No value for money. Venetian harbour in July is one the most crowded, fake looking, noisy and globalized place of Mediterranean. Just avoid it.

We loved the hotel location. Be sure to get a sea view with balcony so you can enjoy the view from the privacy of your patio. The breakfast was served to your room and had a little of everything including that wonderful Greek yogurt with honey. Be prepared to climb 2 or 3 flights of stairs to get to your...

This budget priced hotel (at least when you don't have a sea view!) is in the best location imaginable being just one street back from the delightful harbour. The staff, like all the service people we met in Chania, could not have been more welcoming. Although we never required anything of them we were confident that if there was a...

Staff exceptional, authentic furniture, exceptional views, unbeatable breakfast ( brought to your room whenever you want it) If you want boutique this is not for you. If however you want Venetian buildings, high standards in cleanliness, sights to die for, class furniture from another time and a service that will not be found anywhere else this hotel is for you....

From the time Maria greeted us with a Limoncello and Turkish delight to our departure we had nothing but great service and friendly, helpful advice. Maria organised a local driver, George Bambakis, who responded to our interests perfectly. He went out of his way to show us places of local interest that we would never have experienced otherwise. Our room (106)...

Because of a slight mix-up we wound up staying in a room without a view our first day in town and found it to be perfectly nice. But when we were moved (with lots of apologies and kindness) to our sea view room -- WOW it really took our Brest away! The staff were super friendly and helpful during our...

This simple little hotel is located in the Chania Old Town and the rooms at the front have a picture perfect view of the historic harbour. The hotel offers very little in the way of services or facilities but our room was large and comfortable and having breakfast on the balcony was just magical. A few words of advice if...
