The host, Dimitra, is lovely, very helpful and will give you all the tips and information you need. The place is pretty, nice, well kept, clean and very well located. It's 1 minute walk from the Nea Chora beach and is great for a relaxing vacation.

Everything was wonderful and the owner/manager was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location... it's a lovely, quiet street, yet only steps from the beach and an very short walk into the bustle of the old town. She has everything for you: a good wifi signal, an adorable litter elevator, equipment you can borrow for...

We stayed in the penthouse for two nights Sept 13 and 14 2016 my only complaint was it was not long enough!!!! The staff here is amazing they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The hotel is steps from a nice sandy beach. We had many plans when we arrived, but after we saw...

Had a very nice 4 night stay at Candia! The location is wonderful- quiet and extremely close to the beach and good seafood restaurants. The room was basic and clean, and had what looked to be an updated bathroom. The breakfast every morning had amazing yogurt! Dimitra was very helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

We were wowed by the size and niceness of the rooms. They look like they've been recently renovated. The bedroom is big and there is a kitchenette and dining table in the other room. The bathroom is nice and modern. Just one minute by foot from the beach, 10 minutes by foot from the old town. Very spacious and comfortable....

20 minute walk from the old town of Chania. Small rooms quite minimal, but enough. We stayed here for two night, and the only very negative point for us was the temperature of our room, was very hot, difficoult to sleep in. But if you like you have the air conditioning. No private parking but easy to find in the...

This hotel is more like a home! With wonderful Dimitra and her friendly staff to welcome us and newly modernized rooms we spent a wonderful 11 days here in Nea Chora, Chania. The rooms are not enormous but practical with a balcony giving a panorama view of the beach and surrounding coastline as far as Golden Sands Beach. The bathroom...

Located only 50m from Nea Chora beach, several restaurants and very close to the Venetian harbour in Chania, Hotel Candia is ideally located for our family. Close to the beach with all amenities during the day (close to go to the appartment if needed too) and a nice stroll for dinner at night and/or shoping in Chania (15 slow walk)....

Tihe location of this hotel is good as it is a few meters away from the beach and only a short walking distance from the city center and the venitian port. The rooms offer decent space for 2 or 3 persons but not for more. We were very disappointed with the old and noisy furniture, the worn out mattress and...
