Room with private pool and superb views of sea and islands. Very professional spa. Excellent service at every level. Small private beach with all necessary amenities. One of the best buffet restaurants I have sampled. Food served in small quantities so always fresh rather than stale and dried out.Lots of choice and good mix of Greek and international dishes. 4 or 5 prepared salads plus all the ingredients to modify or make your own. 4 or 5 meat and 2 or 3 fish dishes. Good selection of desserts, ice cream and fresh fruits. The Aegeo spa gives a broad range of treatments: Pascherlis, who is a qualified physiotherapist, gave an excellent massage as well as some sound health advice.

It's not a big hotel which for us is a plus. It has a very relaxed vibe, friendly staff (even the chefs were happy to chat as they brought out food) - mega important as that sets the tone. We were so lucky and happy with our junior suite with pool, although the room decor is a little tired it didn't in anyway spoil our stay and the rooms were so clean. Thank you to Nikos and to everyone who looked after us.The decor in the public areas was stylish, using natural colours and materials, very up to date. The food was always very tasty, we carefully choose what we put it together on our plates and enjoyed every meal. We became a little obsessed about getting a table for dinner on the outside terrace, it felt like a classy very pretty small restaurant which is so unusual for hotels with all inc. We spent part of every day on the hotel beach, so relaxing. The view is simply stunning from everywhere. We would be so happy to go back. We had dinner out one evening in The Ferryman in Elounda, great too. And this was the third visit to Spinalonga, loved seeing this special island sitting outside our room. Read The Island by Victoria Hislop before you go, good book and you'll want to visit for sure.

This hotel had the most fantastic views. From our hotel balcony, restaurant terraces and beach. Just beautiful. The hotel itself is on a very steep hillside so don't visit if you have problems walking. Food was good local Greek produce, which I like. Beach bar is run by the friendliest girl. Very professional and generally lovely. Rooms okay size but balcony tiny. If you have the money stay at the top of complex. More modern and new. Great holiday and hope to return again

We stayed here in September 2019, from start to finish this hotel is amazing. We booked a twin room and when we opened the curtains to our balcony we had a small pool which was a real lovely surprise. The food you could not fault and the staff where so helpful. There is a small shop in the hotel if you need water or a snack. There was entertainment at night including a DJ night, Greek night and a quiz night. The beech is a 5 minute walk from reception and has sunbeds and a little bar for drinks and snacks. I would certainly recommend this hotel and the only down side is that it is situated on a steep hill, so if you have mobility problems it probably would not suit you. Overall AMAZING and would certainly go back again!!!!

We booked a "normal" room but upon arrival it turned out to be a small room with a very small bed. The WIFI didn't work, the television had almost no channels. The bathroom was not clean, every night worms came out of the drain. When I first saw the room, I felt like crying. You leave on holiday to have a good time, not to be in an old, not renovated room. So I went to the reception and expressed my concerns. I asked for another room but the woman at the desk said the hotel was totally full. The next day I spoke with the manager that said that we could move to another room in a couple days, but that we had to pay 50 euro per night extra. We did not take the "offer" because I was not so keen on moving after a couple days and didn't feel like spending another 200 euros. The rooms are supposed to be correct for everybody. The manager didn't agree, he said that we really booked the worst room of the hotel and that we should have booked a suite with private swimming pool. This is not a normal reaction. They didn't do anything for us anymore. The restaurant was crowded, but the food was fair. The waiters were friendly. The swimming pool was not heated, so very cold, but that is normal. The indoor swimming pool was freezing cold what is not normal to me. Indoor means normally that it is supposed to be heated. Unfortunately. Avoid this hotel! There are lots of better hotels in Crete for this price.
