Went to The Lamb the other night , Food was excellent but the service was not up to par

Visited the lamb for the first time in early May for dinner with my partner and parents. Great atmosphere lovely staff. Fantastic menu with lots of vegetarian options and the food was top notch. All in all a very good experience will definitely go back.
Seven of us went for Father's Day and there wasn't one single criticism. Beers and wines were all excellent. Service was good. We'll definitely go again. Four of us had the slow roasted brisket of beef which was particularly good.

We went with friends who live locally and like their food, so we weren't disappointed. It was busy but we had booked a table and the bar was pretty busy as everyone had come in to escape the heavy rainstorm.
