This was our first time in Crete and we felt welcomed from the minute we arrived and nothing was too much trouble with very friendly staff and excellent clean and comfortable rooms. The best thing was it was a quiet hotel which meant a great nights sleep every night which was heaven. If you like smaller hotels with that personal...

Have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Rethymon where we stayed at the Astali. This is the second time we have stayed there and the overall experience of staying here is excellent - you can not fault it. The family who run the hotel are so welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much trouble for them. The...

We loved this hotel....perfect location for the beach and the beautiful old town. The family and their staff work tirelessly to ensure this hotel is welcoming, spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay in. Amazing value for money with a delightful breakfast included. We had a wonderful holiday and we would have no hesitation in recommending the Astali and the...

just back from a great weeks holiday in Rethymnon and stayed here hotel was great and staff really friendly and helpful thought the lack of pool may have been a problem having two kids but beach at the bottom of the road and old town a 10min walk away as is the local bus stop which is a great service...

Small but beautifull family hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are a bit small (because we had a baby cot in the room), but very cozy and very clean. Best thing about it is location, right between city beach and old city center. If you want a place where you can really enjoy peacefull vacation, Astali is just the place.

I have stayed at many 5* hotels yet surprisingly this 2* hotel has been by far the most cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were bright (with good blackout curtains), the A/C was luxurious (it was extremely hot when we stayed), the staff were welcoming and helpful and the location was excellent. The breakfast composed of cold...

Initially arrived late at night, fairly cheap hotel only about 150-200m from the beach. The hotel has friendly staff - feels strange handing my key everytime I leave the hotel but it makes sense - just made me feel a bit uncomfortable coming back at 2am odd times! But they never made it seem like a bother and the guy...

We have stayed for a week and besides the small room (but what can you expect for 2 stars hotel) everything was perfect. The rooms are newly rebuilt and feel like completely new, clean and comfy. The bed is better than what I've had even in 4 stars hotels and we slept great. The hosts were nice and helpful, one...

Stayed at the Astali with my husband in June for 2 weeks .From the moment we arrived after a late flight & delay we where made to feel very welcome. This small family run hotel is kept very clean, with the emphasis on a friendly atmosphere, it had many people returning here year after year which says a lot. Breakfast...
