We wanted to stay somewhere for 2 weeks and saw the pictures online and thought this would be a great fit for us with the old rustic look and the location close to the sea (in fact JUST by the sea). The place was as good as in the pictures. Very lovely scenery, the sea just beneath the balcony and... More

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, our room was basic but had everything that we needed and was very reasonably priced. The hotel sits right on the rocks of the coast so you can hear the sea as you go to bed at night. You can also walk out the back of the hotel straight onto the beach... More

It is a cozy small historic hotel quite far from town center. Rooms with seaview are marvelous, but other rooms might not be worth of it. (This may partly explain the difference in these reviews.) Waking up to the sound of sea or sitting at night on your own small balcony looking to the castle on the other side of... More

We stayed in a large family room for a few nights, there were 4 of us and it was an unusual room in with 3 on the mezzaine and one down next to the kitchen. If you are looking for a classic hotel room this is not for you but it suited us just fine as the room was large... More

This hotel looks from the online portals amazing. It is beautiful with rag stone and a split level room set up. We paid for the top level sea view room which means a balcony one person can just about get on. The host isn't friendly and never even offered breakfast or explained how much or if we could have it.... More

A traditional stoned building. Big bedrooms with a loft. You could listen to the waves at night. Big wooden doors opening to the side terrace where you can enjoy watching the sea. Romantic! Unfortunatly the storm destroyed the front terrace. It needs a lot of work to be done and a good renovation. Very good, fresh and homemade breakfast in... More

I visited the place in the middle of the winter. From the first moment it struck me as something cosy, friendly and homey. I could not believe it when I entered the room (actually, a doble storey, stone walled large room) and opened the window. I could see the waves and listen to the sound of the sea, especially in... At the entrance of Rethymno coming from Chania, Delfini offer a dozen of bedrooms at very affordable prices, most of them with king size bed on mezzanine. The best and quiet rooms are of course located in front of sea. The restaurant is located in a wonderful cave with open terrace on sea !! Very romantic ! Smiling service and... More

Excellent location, loved the sound of waves at night. Would only choose a sea view room at this hotel as it is the main attraction. Good location, quieter than in town but only a short walk along a path to centre of Rethymno. Breakfast was great, Restaurant was fantastic, good value and quality. Visited in October and had no problem... More
