I arrived in Rethymno and when I saw the hotel I had booked online, I needed to change immediately. I very fortunately found the Achillion Hotel, such a lucky find for me. I was given a really lovely room, so warm and comfortable (it was the middle of winter), with great heating, lashings of hot water, and a kettle to...

Achillion Palace has a brilliant location between the city centre and the beach of Rethymnon. Both walkable distance. The staff is very friendly and helps you with any kind of request. The breakfast was basic but abundant. The roof top swimming pool is not that big, but has nice views upon old town. Large rooms with balcony and basic bath...

Breakfast had a good choice of things to eat. I read in another post they didn't provide fruit but we had a very good...

I stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is perhaps a bit dated, but the staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was an extensive selection at breakfast, and there was a cute little garden where you could enjoy it. It is within walking distance from the...
